It goes without saying that even our BASIC LINE is of the same high quality you would expect from all SOLO products. The differences are found in the equipment features and ease of use. For example, all sprayers in the COMFORT LINE and above are fitted as standard with VITON速 seals in all the important places. The PRO LINE backpack sprayers are especially comfortable to wear, preventing tiredness even after prolonged periods of use. The two battery-operated sprayers, two power sprayers and two power misters are not only lightweight but also offer a powerful output. Whether they use electric motors, 4-stroke Honda engines or 2-stroke SOLO engines, these tools combine high levels of performance and top quality. Small, light and handy, yet robust and versatile – these are our compact manual pressure sprayers 403 and 404. A large filling aperture enables the 1.25 l or 2.0 l tank to be filled cleanly with the spray liquid, and any leftovers can be easily drained. The large pump lever can quickly raise the internal pressure up to the maximum of 2 bar. This lets you apply almost the entire content without additional pumping. The integral safety valve protects the appliance against excess pressure build-up.

The high quality hollow cone nozzle is fully adjustable – from a direct jet to the finest mist. The pivoting nozzle – a standard feature – enables even overhead work. For bigger jobs, the capacity has to be right, as does operator comfort. Both models of the BASIC LINE, with shoulder strap and their 5.0 l (408) or 7.0 l (409) volume, offer plenty of capacity to be able to spray a few additional square metres. Just a few pump strokes are enough to build the maximum spray pressure of 2 bar inside the transparent plastic tank. Both models are equipped with the new carrying and pump handles. In addition, the broad range of SOLO sprayer accessories (see page 20) is available. The wide, funnel-shaped filling aperture facilitates clean and easy filling and draining. The adjustable universal hollow cone nozzle enables a variable amount of agent to be delivered.

With 3 bar operating pressure, SOLO pressure sprayers 461 and 462 are ideal for a variety of tasks in the garden and outside the house. To enable you to work uninterrupted for longer, versions with capacities of 5 l (461) or 7 l (462) are available. The large, smooth-running 270 cm3 pump creates the necessary spray pressure. The wide filling aperture, spray wand retainer, generous filling and cleaning aperture and two spray nozzles supplied as standard (flat spray and hollow cone) – all located within a handy storage compartment – are just some of the features of these attractive pressure sprayers. Plant maintenance made easy: The large wheels of the SOLO 453 trolley sprayer make it easy to pull along, facilitating work involving long distances, whether moving through a garden or transporting to site. Yet the use of aluminium for the height-adjustable handle keeps the weight right down. The dry weight is a mere 3.5 kg.

SOLO backpack sprayers When it comes to plastic backpack sprayers, we have decades of experience, having started producing full plastic sprayers back in 1960. The lightness of the material on the one hand and its durability on the other are just two good reasons to choose SOLO backpack sprayers. In the COMFORT LINE and above, the models are also equipped with highly resistant VITON® seals for applying aggressive liquids. With abrasive fluids, the 475 sprayers are the ideal choice, as the special diaphragm in their pumps is highly robust. There are four pressure settings so you can apply precise quantities. With either piston or diaphragm, the pumps in the SOLO backpack sprayers are some of the most effortless to use on the market. Even longer operating times are therefore simple to achieve, thanks also to the exceptional straps, inspired by the outdoor sports sector on the 425 PRO and 475 PRO models. Tightly fitting dust cap prevents the ingress of dust

Seeds, fertiliser (e.g. after scarifying), gritting salt, oil absorbers, cleaning agents, pelletised lime, bird seed, stock feed, sand, etc. The integral agitator ensures even distribution onto the steadily rotating spreader disc driven by the manual crank. Up to 9 kg of granulated matter can be applied where specifically required, even on difficult terrain – for example where a wheeled appliance would be unsuitable. The direction in which the material is spread can be adjusted just as easily as the delivery rate. The spreader is carried in front of the body by means of an adjustable strap. Efficient working practices and high performance are called for in enclosed spaces too, such as conservatories and greenhouses. For such applications, SOLO offers two battery-operated backpack sprayers – models 416 and 417. Free of emissions and whisper-quiet, both meter out their spray medium from a 20 l (416) or 18 l (417) transparent tank made from highly resilient UVresistant plastic. Powerful 12 V pumps, switchable to two stages with up to 4.3 bar pressure deliver both the pressure and throughput you need. The low dry weight guarantees tireless working. Once the battery has run out, the charger supplied takes just a few hours to recharge the unit. SOLO 433 and 434 high pressure sprayers feature 2-stroke or 4‑stroke engines with plenty of power: The adjustable operating pressure of the push-pull piston pump reaches up to 30 bar, enabling this unit to deliver the finest spray – even high up – at a flow rate of up to 2.4 l/min. The right nozzle for any crop: The standard delivery of the SOLO 451 and PORT 423 includes a long reach nozzle as well as a wide spray grille and a nozzle with interchangeable deflectors. The long reach nozzle directs the spray medium over a distance of up to 12 m (PORT 423). The spray width increases with the wide spray grille. The nozzle with single sided deflector makes it easier to spray rows of crops and also enables you to reach underneath leaves. The double sided deflector allows you to treat two rows at a time.

SOLO misters are amongst the most popular in the world. They are right at home and have become indispensable in agriculture, horticulture, woodland maintenance, public parks and green areas, amongst fruit and vine growers and in coffee and cocoa plantations in Africa and South America. This success does not come out of the blue: Firstly, misters from SOLO have an impressive spraying capacity as well as being light. These characteristics make them the environmentally responsible choice for the economical protection of all crops and plantings anywhere in the world. Secondly, plant protection sprayers from SOLO are remarkably robust and easy to handle. Thanks to all these benefits, they have been helping to bring about high yields around the globe for many years. In this, advanced engine technology from SOLO ensures low fuel consumption, reduced exhaust gas emissions and high performance in continuous use – even when it gets very hot. In addition to plant protection, these sprayers can also be used for disinfection, parasite control in animal herds, in stables, storage areas, ships and containers. The range of accessories (see page 23) makes both SOLO misters, i.e. the 451 and the PORT 423, even more versatile. For example, a dusting attachment turns the PORT 423 mister into a dusting machine. If you need to increase the reach of SOLO misters (for example when spraying upwards), simply equip them with a liquid booster pump. This enables the use of longer spray wands, whilst keeping the spray pattern and spray volume constant.
