LET’S LIFT UP OUR COMMUNITY!

For the entire month of September, we are partnering with our local non-profit, LIFT-UP, to help those in need in our community.

LIFT-UP believes that access to fresh, healthy and sustainable food provides hope, and empowerment and strengthens our community. Due to inflation and the end of expanded COVID-related SNAP benefits, the need in our community has continued to rise. LIFT-UP needs additional funding to increase our capacity to fulfill our mission. LIFT-UP has a lean staff of just 15 and relies on more than 200 dedicated volunteers who help manage our pantries and drive-thru distribution sites. Last year, LIFT-UP provided food for over 12,500 individuals and served over 60,000 guest visits across all our programs. As of the 2nd quarter of 2023, we have served over 55,000 guest visits. The economic challenges facing families in Pitkin, Eagle, and Garfield counties, where LIFT-UP provides support, are exceptionally high. Did you know that LIFT-UP partners with 32 local farms and ranches to provide our guests with healthy and nutritious food grown right here in Colorado. Help us in the fight to end food insecurity in our local communities!
