Vision of Rue Lamark Social Housing The selected images have chosen from my Master Project (Green Artery) at Kingston University London. The Green Artery Strategy is based on designing a system. The aim is to develop an environmental system, recovering the current ecology, through green infrastructure, and comply with social, economic, and ecological sustainability principles. The project looks at improving social housing, and it’s surrounding streets environmentally. The project attempted to blur the edges between grey parts of the city and green environmental elements by recreating the green corridor by arranging a closed system.
The strategy looks at urban agriculture specifically. Arranging programs and infrastructure for residential to produce urban agricultural products will increase availability and access to the fresh local food and provide a bed to increase social interaction. Using the top roof of building as an urban agricultural field will have communicational, commercial, environmental and recreational benefits. (This page images)

Visualisation of Intermediate Plaza
Visualisation of Communal Farm
1. Market. Stalls of the local market provides an opportunity to sell local products. 2. Multi-functional fountain. It will reuse rainwater. 3- Intermediate Plaza. This area tries to attract visitors as well as residence, by specific planting. 4. Picnic area. Open space will leave to grow naturally; this can be a bed to grow natural domestic species. 5. Play-ground. The natural form of land creates an enclosed playground, which will provide a safe space for children without using any fences. 6. Basketball field 7. Ponds. 8% slope of the site will help to create a sustainable drainage system. These reservoirs are collected and reused runoff through the site, which will mitigate the flood risk. 8. Communal farm. Allotments will allow residence to produce local fresh food. 9. Parking areas. It is tried to frame this part by the green buffer, reducing the noise and pollution of vehicle. 10. Orchard. 11. Winter garden. It offers urban agriculture at different times of the year. 12. Rooftop allotment, will provide more area to help dwellers to become more self-sufficient, moreover working in the groups on top will inspire a sense of ownership and pride. 13. Cafe. It will be managed by locals and use garden Products. 14. Communal Organization House, is a place to manage and organize the programs, including stalls renting, allotments allocation, and glasshouse management.
Shared Street
Shared Street invites pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles to use the space without separating the users (Shared space: Research, policy and problems, 2014). By attaching new surface treatments, the street will transform to a place firstly for pedestrian and cyclist, by vehicles allowed as “guests”.
Zoom Out Area
The images on this page show some of my drawing from Kingston University London, which will focus on the streets around social housing. The Green artery seeks to recover the Green route from cemetery Sainte-Marie to forest de Mongeon. This part aims to demonstrate critical sections through the different parts of Green Root to show how the strategy will efficiently change the functional usages of streets and recovers the area with contemporary and sustainable elements. This image shows the direction of Green Artery and the location of following critical sections in order.
Curb Extension
The Curb Extension is suggested as a traffic calming measure, primarily used to extend the sidewalk, reduce the crossing distance and allow pedestrians to cross. It is also used to improve safety by slowing down the cars. A curb extension is an angled narrowing of the roadway and a widening of the sidewalk.
Wider Sidewalk
The Wider Sidewalk would enhance the pedestrian’s experience of the city. A pilot project can quickly test the sidewalk extension. After the pilot has proven its viability and value, the sidewalk extensions can create permanent, long-term amenities, as illustrated below.
The work will show some of my technical drawings chosen from my Construction Design Course at the London College of Garden Design at Kew Garden. The intention is showing some of my technical experience and abilities in more details. I tried to focus on the edges and demonstrate how the materials can sit next to each other. The approach toward this work emphasises the potential of design, which will be implemented by choosing the appropriate material and applying the right textures and colours. Majority of this plan allocated to the soft landscape and sitting perennial next to the smooth, warm and bright surfaces will form an attractive contrast which would attract residents outside.
