El estado llevara una propuesta de ley al congreso que requiere que los maestros de Louisiana pasen por un programa de entrenamiento de prevención de suicidio para saber como manejar situaciones de este tipo con sus estudiantes. Los maestros de las escuelas púbicas ya pasan por un entrenamiento de 2 horas cada año. Esta medida se expendería a que los maestros de escuelas charter y privadas también se les brinde el entrenamiento. El suicidio es la tercera causa de muerte entre personas de 15 a 34 años en Louisiana según el Instituto Nacional de Salud Mental.

El senado del estado de Louisiana, aprobó ayer un proyecto de ley que obligara a todos los gobiernos locales a poner señales de advertencia de que hay cámara móviles por las que pueden ser multados.

The state will bring a bill to Congress that requires Louisiana teachers to go through a suicide prevention training program to learn how to handle such situations with their students. Public school teachers already go through 2-hour training each year. This measure would extend to charter and private school teachers also being provided with training. FEMA EXTIENDE PLAZO PARA SOLICITAR TRABAJOS DE ASISTENCIA PÚBLICA

Un oficial del Departamento de Policía de Baker ha sido arrestado por presuntamente retener detalles en una investigación sobre tiros que fueron disparados contra el Walmart en Baker en abril. Siempre puedes ahorrar y es muy recomendable pero a la misma vez trata de poner mucho énfasis en ganar más haciendo un trabajo a medio tiempo o aprendiendo algo nuevo. 2.- Compras cosas que no puedes pagar. Aunque ganes más no significa que puedes gastar más. Siempre trata de vivir con un presupuesto y trázate metas para ahorrar. 3.- No invertir. Una vez más tratar de vivir con un presupuesto y aprovechar los diferentes planes de retiro que hay disponibles y trazarte metas para saber cómo llegarás ahí. 4.- Nunca sales de tu zona de confort. Solo recuerda que las mejores cosas a siempre están afuera de tu zona de confort, siempre hay una primera vez para algo y tienes la capacidad de aprender. 5.- Crees que tener dinero no es para ti. Este puede que sea el error que más te afectará ya que si crees que no puedes tener dinero los otros 4 puntos no valen la pena, recuerda que todo empieza por la mente y si crees que puedes o no puedes hacer algo siempre estarás en lo correcto. ¡Hasta el próximo mes!

CUBA INVITADO ESPECIAL DEL JAZZFEST 2017 El jazz fest 20017 este gloriosos festival que tenemos en nuestro estado y uno de los mas importantes del mundo tomo la iniciativa este año de mostrar en su amplia gama de oferta cultural un espacio para la cultura Cubana, llegaron músicos, artistas, artesanos y expositores de varias ramas de la cultura que en esta ocacion seleccionaron a la provincia oriental de Santiago de Cuba, impresionante el espacio donde pudieron exponer, la música los tambores y el ambiente cubano se respiraba en su máximo esplendor, desde la entrada se podia ver una valla que mencionaba la bienvenida al espacio cubano, al entrar en el recinto cultural el sonido de los tambores bata las congas y cantos de las religion yoruba hacían eco del emocionante momento. Los embajadores principales fueron la conga de los Hoyos este emblemático grupo de comparsa callejera, fue el gran invitado, el sonido combinado de la corneta china y los tambores cencerros y campanas hacen sentir aquel ambiente rumbero fuera de las costas cubanas. Entre otros embajadores de esta cultura también estuvieron Pedrito Martinez Rumba Project featuring Roman Diaz, un ensamble de rumba con cantos regionales de los tiempos de la esclavitud, ensamble perfecto que nos puede transportar por su energía a tiempo antiguos donde cantar era para los esclavos una forma de expresar su dolor por la tierra perdida. El Septeto nacional Ignacio Piñeriro, El grupo de changüí de Guanatanamo engalanaron el espacio con su ritmo sincopado al estilo de la década de los 50, tradiciones puras se vivían en este lugar, la venta de artesanías instrumentos musicales y Tabaco hicieron de este lugar el recinto perfecto para los que amamos esta tierra y para los que gustan de apreciar el arte en su expresión mas sincera, solo nos resta decir gracias Jazz Fest 2017 por esta oportunidad de mostrar al mundo la cultura de un país que tiene mucho que ofrecer y que no tiene una liberta plena…

RELIQUIAS LITERARIAS:

EL LEGADO DE JUAN RULFO Este mes se celebra el centenario del nacimiento de Juan Rulfo, escritor, guionista y fotógrafo mexicano oriundo de Jalisco, a quien debemos agradecer su valioso- si bien breve- legado literario. Quisiera, por ello, dedicarle unas líneas en la publicación de hoy. Leer a Juan Rulfo no es tarea fácil, pero sí agradable. Su escritura laberíntica introduce al lector a la deriva de una vereda que muchas veces parece no tener salida: caminos truncados, ilusiones perdidas, perdones imposibles, fantasías, delirios,… Todos estos elementos son piezas clave en el rompecabezas literario que elabora Juan Rulfo. Autor de dos obras: El llano en Llamas, una recopilación de cuentos breves sobre la vida del hombre en la tierra desde una perspectiva fatalista, y Pedro Páramo, su gran y única novela por excelencia, un relato sobre un pueblo convertido en infierno, por el que almas en pena deambulan continuamente. Con su peculiar e innovadora estructura narrativa, Juan Rulfo alterna en su obra las voces y el silencio, que juega un papel muy importante en su obra, trazando un ritmo singular y distinto, que rompe con la estética positivista y la linealidad propia del siglo XIX, aunque este hecho no sea la auténtica revolución rulfiana por antonomasia. Si lo es, en cambio, la estructura narrativa que vemos en Pedro Páramo. Una estructura que, mediante una superposición de fragmentos que parecen estar desordenados pero que están perfectamente ordenados en su desorden, se torna vanguardista, emula lo que en arte es el cubismo y que en literatura se llama cubismo literario. Algo que ya se había hecho en la literatura del s XX pero no a ese nivel. Rulfo rompe con los estereotipos de la disposición de la novela en capítulos, intercalando fragmentos breves sin aparente relación, ya sean diálogos, monólogos o pensamientos. La ambigüedad, la yuxtaposición, las distintas perspectivas narrativas… todo ello es lo que da carácter a la obra de Rulfo. Para empezar a entender su obra es importante contextualizarse y tener presente la influencia de la niñez y adolescencia de Juan Rulfo en su obra literaria. La muerte violenta de su padre, la ruina familiar en la que se vieron sumidos y la posterior muerte de su madre junto con su paso por el orfanato fueron acontecimientos importantes que le sumergieron en un estado depresivo marcado por la soledad de la que se ve empapada toda su obra. Así mismo, el marco histórico real coetáneo a la época de Rulfo, será su fuente de inspiración a la hora de crear sus historias ficticias. THE LEGACY OF JUAN RULFO This month marks the centenary of the birth of Juan Rulfo, writer and Mexican photographer from Jalisco, to whom we must thank his valuable - might brief - literary legacy. I would therefore like to dedicate a few lines to it in today's publication. Reading Juan Rulfo is not easy, but pleasant. His labyrinthine writing introduces the reader to the drift of a path that often seems to have no way out: truncated paths, lost illusions, impossible pardons, fantasies, delusions, ... All these elements are key pieces in the literary puzzle that Juan Rulfo elaborates. Author of two works: Llano en Llamas, a compilation of short stories about the life of man on earth from a fatalistic perspective, and Pedro Páramo, his great and unique novel par excellence, a story about a people turned into hell, for The one who souls in grief continually wander. With his peculiar and innovative narrative structure, Juan Rulfo alternates in his work the voices and the silence, which plays a very important role in his work, tracing a singular and distinct rhythm, which breaks with the positivist and the own linearity of the nineteenth century, athough this fact is not the authentic revolution rulfiana by antonomasia. If it is, instead, the narrative structure we see in Pedro Páramo. A structure that, through an overlapping of fragments that appear to be disorderly but are perfectly ordered in its disorder, becomes avant-garde, emulates what in art is cubism and which in literature is called literary cubism. Something that had already been done in XX century literature but not at that level. Rulfo breaks with the stereotypes of the disposition of the novel in chapters, interspersing brief fragments with no apparent relation, be it dialogues, monologues or thoughts. The ambiguity, the juxtaposition, the different perspectives narrative ... all this is what gives character to the work of Rulfo To begin to understand his work it is important to contextualize and bear in mind the influence of childhood and adolescence of Juan Rulfo in his literary work. The violent death of his father, the family ruin in which they were submerged and the subsequent death of his mother along with his passing through the orphanage were important events that plunged him into a depressed state marked by the solitude of which is soaked all his work. Likewise, the real historical framework contemporaneous with the time of Rulfo, will be his source of inspiration when creating his fictional stories. Cambios saludables Cambiar a una dieta saludable no tiene que ser una proposición de todo o nada. You’ll eat fewer calories and avoid the chemical, added sugar, and unhealthy fats of packaged foods. Make the right changes. Cutting back on unhealthy foods in your diet is important. Replacing dangerous trans fats with healthy fats (such as switching fried chicken for grilled salmon) will make a positive difference to your health. Read the labels. It’s important to be aware of what’s in your food as manufacturers often hide large amounts of sugar or unhealthy fats in packaged food. Drink plenty of water. Water helps flush our systems of waste products and toxins, many of us go through life dehydrated—causing tiredness, low energy, and headaches. It’s common to mistake thirst for hunger, so staying well hydrated will help you make healthier choices.
