Body Fossils Body fossils are like fossils of different parts of the animals body. Say like a leg,an arm,a hand, even a head, and maybe its torso. Usually its just one bone though like a one at a time process y’know?
Trace Fossils Is basically fossils of stuff that helps you find stuff or figure out where certain things went like a footprint of somesort.
Impression Is a type of trace fossil it is where something makes an imprin on the ground then the ground begins to hardens where that imprint was and it then becomes an Impression.
Carbon Films It is just where a leaf or a plant of some sort gets squished between mud that hardens and then just squeezes all of that item out until it just leaves the imprint.
Preserved Remains It is when the entire organism is found in one singular fossil.
Pseudofossils Are like trace fossils but it made by itself of a nonliving thing to look like a living thing.
Molds and Casts Molds are where the organism is in a rock but decays and leaves a mold in it. A Cast is where it is where sand or mud of some sort fills into a mold and creates a cast.
