Body Fossils There’s so many different parts of the body fossil but the first one is. They are called the fossilized remains off of like a animal and a plant kinda like bones, shells, and leaves.
Body Fossil: External Mold
It’s basically the mold on the outside of the shell
Body fossils: Internal mold
It’s normally on the underside of the shell. Might be left on a rock's surface. It’s made out of sand or mud filled the inside shell.
Molecular Fossils
Some people call them biomarker or biosignatures. Sooner or later or sediments into a rock. Many of these chemicals became alerted known over the years.
Trace Fossils
It’s basically where a plant or a niaml leaving something behind that tells us that they were there. Kina like footprint nest a burrow of poop. Sometimes if it’s good enough it can be made out of jewrely or art.
Carbon Fossils
When an organism dies and is buried in sediment, the materials that make the organism break down and eventually only the carbon remains. The thin layer of carbon left behind can show an organism’s delicate parts like leaves or plant e.g. fern fossil 300 million years old
Pseudo Fossils
Sometimes watery solutions of various minerals speed through the sediments and it takes the shape of some plant part or animal. Their study shows that they are neither plants nor animals. Such fossils are called pseudofossils.
Summary
So basically everything that i learned about fossils there al different in a certain way. There are so many more than 7 surprisingly but the similar is that they all have to deal with the fossil family that’s everything is didffernt in there own
