WELCOME TO THE ANNUAL DISPLAY OF THE EXTRAORDINARY SKILLS AND QUALITY OF WEST AUSTRALIAN RESIDENTIAL BUILDERS.

This is the seventeenth edition of Winning Homes magazine, which celebrates the achievements of builders who entered our 2022 Master Builders-Bankwest Housing Excellence Awards. There are four major categories – contract homes, display homes, alterations and additions and multi-unit developments.

COVID-19 has had a major impact on the world and the way we live but our industry has remained strong, and the crisis has not dampened the spirit of our members. Master Builders members are proud of the wonderful workmanship they display and continue to enter these awards to showcase their talents and give recognition to the fine contribution of associated trades.

Each of our 290 entries have been individually inspected and judged by a panel of experienced Master Builders. In this edition of Winning Homes, new homebuyers can examine photographs and profiles of award-winning homes, as well as a directory of all entrants.

The housing excellence awards are now in their 42nd year and continue to inspire builders to innovate and raise their construction standards. The housing industry has changed a lot over the last four decades, especially in housing design, product choice and digital technology. This evolution will no doubt continue in response to changing demographics, lifestyles and affordability issues.

The Master Builders awards are open to all builder members and focus on the quality of workmanship and craftsmanship. The diversity and quality of Western Australian homes is world class, which characterises our high standard of living and lifestyle. Inside this publication is an amazing range of homes with many unique features catering for all budgets and tastes.

We are privileged to have Bankwest as our Principal Partner for the 17th consecutive year, together with a loyal group of industry partners who have greatly assisted us in putting our awards program together. The ongoing commitment of all our partners to our industry is much appreciated.

For those looking to view a home, check out our website www.mbawa.com to view a full list of award winners.

Thank you to you all our wonderful Master Builder members for again producing such amazing, highquality homes and projects for the Western Australian public.
