PLASTEC AUSTRALIA PTY LTD MARKS 15 years OF SUPPORTING MPAQ MEMBERS

Plastec Australia Pty Ltd was founded in 1992. Since producing their first clip, they have grown to produce over 2,500 products. Specialising in design innovation of injection moulded plumbing products, Plastec proudly manufactures here in Queensland at their Sunshine Coast facility.

The company started with a team of five and now has 105 people in the business. They identified that one of the ways the industry has changed over the years is the over-reliance on offshore manufacturing, leading to supply-chain and quality issues. Plastec’s continuous innovation sees them expanding their range into large bore and civil products along with a plan to enter the irrigation market.
