Matan Gal

Matan began his career in 2012 at Landmann Aluminum as a consultant and supervisor for facade technologies in the public projects sector in Israel. He worked there until 2015. In 2018, he graduated with honors from Bezalel Academy and received several excellence awards for his final project, including the third prize in Azirelli's annual best academic final projects. That same year, he won the third prize in the Israeli design award for the conceptual projects category and was selected to present at UIA Rio 2020 conference. After graduation, Matan worked at several leading Israeli firms and was involved in large-scale public projects. Some of his notable projects include the Broadcom R&D Center & Engineering Labs at Tel Aviv University (Studio PEZ), the Architecture Department building at Tel Aviv University (Tsiovov-Vitkon architects), and the Kikar-Hamedina primary school (Tsiovov-Vitkon architects). In 2019, Matan served as a teaching assistant for Prof. Zvi Efrat in a design studio course for the third year. In 2020, he led a design studio course for the second year. From 2021 to 2023, Matan worked for REX Architects, and he currently works for Foster and Partners while operating as an independent architect.
