In the fourth year of university our assingment is to design „paired items”. Such „paired item”, which I am really fond of are the Matrjoska dolls, so i decided to reimagine the dolls in form of cups. Stacked up and put away they are true to the spirit of the dolls; once in use each one has a soft form. In order to fit perfectly and to expand its usabiity I added two lips to the cups. The protrusive lip holds the spoon, the recessed lip ensures comfortable drinking.

Eating school My theme was the „Future Tradition”. I wanted to use the traditional reprographic process-based production of the porcelain-making. I chose the lino engraving technique, cause beautiful embossed patterns can be produced with it on the porcelain. The problem to which I was looking for a solution that after the meal, the food remaining is disgusting, on the group events. I would like to use a lovely theme, I chose a class scene. The food remaining will be paint the children, and finally we meet the real personality of the students.

Guinea hen tab l e ware My inspiration was a Meissen porcelain pourers. When I first saw I was 15, I immediately fell in love with these objects. The theme that semester is „Future tradition and I would like to redesigned this pieces in my own style. The form are reminiscent of birds, with reference to the Meissen objects. I considered it important to the hand-painted decor as the original objects. I chose the chikens are the guinea fowl feathers of pattern of I will use, cause it expresses my personal identity.

CHANCE As a Bachelor of Arts I chose a dinnerware set for my diploma thesis. At the beginning of the process I aimed for a subject that would challenge me mentally and at the same provide sufficient quantity and quality of products that are sufficient for the thesis requirements. An accidentally found article about blind and visually impaired people planted the seed of thought in my head and I decided that I am going to design dinnerware for them. In this I received valuable imput from Và I, the National Institute for Blind people. After understanding day to day work of the Insitute and learning about how blind people spend their days I realised that only dinnerware dedicated for meals or times of day can be helpful to them. My set is designed for those who lost their sight as an adult. It is designed to help learn the usage of dinnerware and integrate them in their everyday lives without causing any issues during the rehabilitation process. They also present very few possibilities for mistakes during usage, so they don’t break the motivation for recovery.
I made them cylindrical for perfect stability. Their bottoms narrows down in order for them to become stackable for easier storage. They contain a recessed thread for a replaceable silicone ring, which generates a different feeling surface to help find the grip for the piece. It also is a great help for those with residual vision, since the stark contrast between white ceramic and black silicone ring helps them find the place to hold the item, because in most cases people with residual vision are limited to seeing shades of light. The three silicone ring in spice jars allows to indicate which type of spice contains it. The shaping of the kettle makes it possible to be sealed with an inner lid, which restricts the outpouring water flow to 2,5 dl per serving. This helps with the process of perceiving changes in weight so later they wont pour exceeding amounts in their glasses.During the course of the semester I managed to reach the prototype stage and I am very happy that testing can begin. I sincerely hope that I can make further improvements and eliminate any occuring errors.

We know many different versions of ashlars. My design goal was to create a non-monotonous surface which is made out of a single piece, thus is able to form exciting surfaces. I examined simple linkages which contribute to the creation of homogene space with their plastic value. I refracted the surface with positive and negative displacement of geometrical shapes to strengthen the variety of shadow projections.

CERAMIC TYLE SYSTEM // 2013
Reacting to my other design, I created another surface along the same principles only by changing plastic value. My main inspiration was the dynamic of dunes in the desert. I wanted to mimic the wave effect with the organic surfaces on which shadows project in multiple ways in the ever-changing lights.

CONCRETE FINE-DINING TABLEWARE // 2015
Grunge
There is this picture in our head of marred, decaying urban surfaces and that is the thought i wanted to transfer to everyday objects, to create flaws on purpose. I don’t want to the objects look like each other which not concr. I was already interested in dinner set designs, especially fine dining,so i tried to bring this unusual and extreme material into this world. There is a glass lining in each object so they are completely suitable for serving and eating. I have examined what is the differences between the concrete molding and the porcelain molding . Thanks to my experience, I was able to measure the physical properties of the concrete compared to porcelain . I examined the weight, stability, surface finish, density, fragility and after the coloring what happens or changes in the concrete structure. After i did first experiments this concrete, i dealt with the emphasizing the differences between the materials , such as changing the wall thickness, which can not be created during the casting porcelain. I have created reproducible, manufacturable objects.

LAMP FOR CHILDREN // 2014
Zsófi and I were candidates with the Budapest Design week 2014 „Transformers competition. We had to choose object, what will be converted to a different function. We chosen a porcelain rabbit statue, cause We would like to made a lamp for children. First, the glaze was sand blasted off from the statue, cause the material regain of the light transmissibility. Subsequently, we designed a pedestal under the statue to allowing the light bulb replacement. I designed a logo, which was embroidered on the artifical grass by Booms Design. The logo phosphoresce in the dark.

It was a very exciting job to make it readable form of the traditional cross stitch embroidery codes.
