01. Chip Packet Emotions Dress Artist: Cassidy Ede, Year 7 chip packets, digital photography
04. Watercolour At Woolamai Beach Artist: Haylee Lechner, Year 7 digital photography, watercolour
02. Travelling Through Time Artist: Gabrielle Hamlet, Year 7 digital photography on canvas
05. Blur Artist: Zoe Kouris, Year 9 pine wood, plastic, dirt, sand, acrylic paint, string
Each chip packet represents a different meaning and emotion. I asked my friends and family to give me their empty chip packets so that I could put them together to make a dress. I collected nearly 100 both large and small packets. I stuck all the chip packets together with sticky tape to give it a glossy texture and a crinkled form.
My self-portrait is a photo mosaic built with many hundreds of tiny photographs. The photographs tell the story of my life, from the day I was born to the almost present day.
03. Falling Into Fun Artist: Samantha Clark, Year 7 digital photography
This art piece represents Autumn and falling into fun. The colourful umbrella with Autumn colours is the main focus with different dots and arrangements. The “fun” part in image is the playground. The background represents someone’s fun day in Autumn making memories to never forget.
My artwork was inspired by the artist Andre Rucker and his photography. I was inspired by the way he thought creatively and used this in his artwork. I created my artwork using photo editing apps. The photos are of Woolamai Beach, Philip Island. The painting uses watercolour paints and my face and hands.
My theme for this artwork was blur. Blur is about being unfocused and passing time. I used the frame and trees to represent looking out of a window, daydreaming. The paint, sand and scratched plastic give my artwork a blurred look. The contrast between the sand/scratched plastic and the colourful paint represent passing of events.
06. Neverending Artist: Zoe Kouris, Year 9 wire, clock parts, cake board, acrylic paint
To make my clock, I rolled 20c coins across the cake-board creating the look of a plant. The numbers were made from wire which helped represent how humans have affected the environment. We need to do something now to save our environment before time runs out.
07. A House In Toorak Artist: Holly Hodges, Year 9 digital print, colour pencil
I created my house with all the latest features. My house is very family friendly with many open spaces for different functions. The main focus of the house was to incorporate the first and second floor. I did this with high ceilings and open mezzanine over the first floor living room. The house also has many windows allowing as much natural light as possible.

08. Modern Family Home Artist: Madelyn Curtis, Year 9 digital print, colour pencil
I liked the idea of creating my own house and being able to incorporate different ideas. I chose to place a lot of windows so that natural light could enter the home and be sustainable with heating and cooling. The exterior uses concrete rendering because it is contemporary and helps emphasise the unique form of the two-story home.
09. Beauty Is All Around You Artist: Ciara Stephenson, Year 7 digital photo
I created my artwork to show that beauty isn’t just in the face or inside the person, but all around us. Whether it’s in the trees, air or in flowers, beauty is present and everyone has some beauty.
10. Artists’ Bar Artist: Stacey Nesnas, Year 11 copic marker, bleedproof paper
I used 1-point perspective drawing to design the interior details of this bar. I featured martini glasses as a highlight. The copic markers allowed me to represent many different textures such as brick, metal, leather and glass.
11. Think Big Artist: Colby Rough, Year 9 watercolour paint, sequins and ink
A little girl looks at a pile of ideas on her bench and imagines what she can do with all the possibilities.
12. Cosmetic Industry Artist: Saran Kim, Year 12 300gsm card, thick acetate sheet, box board, grey cardboard, ink, pva glue, mount boards, photocopy paper, pencil, digital print The task was to design packages for a series of cosmetic products, furniture in the cosmetic boutique and the boutique store itself. For Communication Design, I have designed packages of a cosmetic brand characterised by the promotion of the environmentally friendly and natural cosmetic products made of organic ingredients. The design is aimed to appeal to the audience through the luxurious quality expressed through the twisted structure and the gold print. For industrial design, I completed an orthogonal technical drawing for the timber counter. For environmental design, I incorporated concrete, skylights, timber and foliage plants in order to transform the residential foundation of the building into a boutique. Three designs may have responded to the specific target audience through the appropriate use of design elements and principles.
13. Dream Big, Baby Girl Artist: Tania Corrie, Year 9 watercolour pencil
The mermaid has her face turned because I wanted to display emotion through the picture. If I made it look like she was hiding something or scared, it would allow my quote, “Dream Big Baby Girl’, to shine through and connect with my drawing. Because she is hiding her face, the quote tells her to let loose and dream big.

14. The Black Shadow Artist: Willow Cleary, Year 9 colour pencil
My piece relates to gender equality and feminism. The piece is an interpretation of a series of short stories written by Angela Cartons ‘Bloody Chamber’. I incorporated use of colour contrast, shape and texture to display my beliefs about government influence on women in society. Little Red Riding Hood represents the female population. The strong bold and bright colours are powerful in comparison to the wolf which looms as a dark and gloomy figure. The wolf represents the government and the public’s current position on gender equality, a dark shadow blocking the path towards women’s equality in the world.

20. Art Deco Postcard Artist: Molly O’Bryan, Year 10 digital photograph, gold ink
