Material began as a celebration of the talent in the North East which we felt was not being done justice by the majority of periodicals out there, but now we have published writers from across the world. Not only do we want to produce a magazine full of quality writings - we also want to create a supportive network where people can feel comfortable, learn and be a part of this bubbling creative movement. No art, no cliché, no cliques – just quality pieces of written work stitched together and shown off to the world!
