“Mathew was recommended to me from a co-worker. Mathew was the realtor for the sale of their single family home and he was phenomenal for them. We met with Mathew 4 months before we were ready to sell our home. From the first meeting, my wife and I, were impressed with his poise and knowledge of the housing market. We discussed various time frames for listing our single family home based on market trends before and after the XMAS holidays. Mathew provided us the information we needed to make an informed decision.

After we vacated the house Mathew took over and had the house fully prepared; cleaned (inside and out), staged, photographed, listed. We didn't have to do a thing, Mathew took care of everything. The listing and photo collage were tremendous.

We received our first offer, above asking, the day the house hit the market. We had a signed back-up offer the second day on the market and we hadn't yet had the first open house. After the first open house we had two more offers.

Once the house was in escrow Mathew provided weekly timeline updates; dates we needed to complete various actions and dates the buyer needed to complete various actions. Mathew used phone calls, texts, and E-mails to keep us abreast of the escrow process. All E-mails from Mathew or the title company were followed up with texts from Mathew alerting us of the E-mail and required actions. This ensured we were always early with the required actions on our part, the seller.

In the end we closed escrow 10 days early. I cannot imagine a smoother sale of a single family home. Mathew was excellent and I would easily use him again for buying or selling a home.”

The Aiea/Pearl Ridge area is one of Oahu’s most popular condominium markets, thanks to its proximity to military bases, Pali Momi hospital and Pearl Ridge Shopping Center. One of the area’s more popular buildings is Colonnade on the Greens , a gated condominium community surrounded by the Pearl Country Club golf course (though not part of it). Colonnade on the Greens, which was built in 1976, consists of 274 decently sized two- to four-bedroom apartments spread across five buildings. Two-bedroom/two-bath floorplans start at about 800 square feet and go up to just over 1,600; three bedroom/two-bath layouts have about 1,100 square feet; and the four-bedroom floorplans, which have either three or three-and-a-half baths, range between 2,000 to 2,100 square feet.

Amenities include barbecues, a clubhouse, exercise room, pool, putting green, recreation room, sauna, tennis court and walking/jogging path. There are about eight units currently listed for between the low$300,000s to $400,000, and the owner-occupancy rate is approximately 55 percent.

The unit pictured below was remodeled in 2005/2006, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms with an interior living area of 1,033 square feet and an open lanai with 91 square feet. The updated corner-end apartment has ceramic tile and laminate wood flooring, and views of the golf course and Pearl Harbor and partial ocean views. The unit comes with one parking stall.
