Brand Concept I had developed an identity for Nichola as part of the last module but her collection had moved into a different direction and she wanted her brand to follow. Her collection has moved more towards a high street yet designer market like Republic and Religion. Taking a feather from her collection to create a usable icon I developed a logo based on high street fashion. The logo was the applied to the range of deliverables required. Deliverables

Creative C.V Utilising elements form the logo a creative C.V was developed. The sacle of the C.V is A3 and folds down to A6 to fit into a textured C6 envelope. The fold allows for interactivity but also allowing more space to show case some of the clients collection. Website Taking inspiration from the feather patterns used in the clients collection informed by the urban feel of the Religion website a textured background has been used. The image galleries on the website of the clients collection work on a scrolling basis. The first screen would look like the bottom left then when scrolled a selection of larger images would move up on the screen while the logo and blog link stay in place.

Brand Concept Jenifer’s logo was developed as part of a module for OUGD301. It was a case of taking the log and developing the brand identity across a range of deliverables using her final collection. The brand is based on elegance, femininity and is aimed at a highend designer market. It was essential that the further deliverables accentuated this and also kept to the simple and elegant brand colours based purely on a strong use of white with black.

Alysia initial branding was done as part of OUGD301. The logo had been designed based on the developing patterns of her garments. A full upper case typeface was developed based on her initial logo. While designing the typeface It became apparent that the thin strokes could be removed leaving behind a series of patterns that could be used to create a strong brand image for Alysia.

Website The home page consists of the client’s logo in the middle of the screen, each letter of the clients logo rolls over taking you to a different part of the site. The inside is based on a structured table but with changing elements. The name of the page navigated too changes on the left hand side. A different pattern taken from the developed typeface also gives each page a unique feel. The main content of the page stays in the middle and for aspects like photography or the client’s collection the images are based in a set of scroll bars allowing navigation around a set of images from the middle of the site by scrolling left, right, up or down.

Lucy’s collection is based around optical illusions. Taking this main aspect forward an initial logo was created then developed into a full typeface to use to create a strong brand image for Lucy. The logo was applied to a letterhead, business card. and an initial idea for a creative C.V.
