Organisational Typology for Experiential Nature Tourism Architecture, Abstract: People today are looking for new and exciting experiences in the natural environment which typically, would include attractions or features such as mountains, waterfalls, parklands and lakes. Yet, there is a limit to the amount of natural outdoor attractions for recreational opportunities. Nature-focused architecture can help us manage the problems and issues caused by overcrowding and the intense competition for natural attractions.

Currently, the tourism industry in the Baltic is heavily reliant on a classical interpretation of recreational architecture and its related services and activities. The primary focus of this research is on intentional and inadvertent experiential tourism in order to synthesize a new approach to the architecture of nature tourism. In doing so, it also considers several approaches that enable us to develop guidelines on the intentional development of new nature tourism experiences for the Baltic countries of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Relevance/problem – Overtourism and crowding in popular nature locations. Rapidly growing demand for nature tourism against a limited number of nature objects. Subject – Nordic climate-appropriate approaches to the development and decentralization of nature tourism sites

Aim - Developing guidelines and recommendations for decentralization of nature tourism in Nordics through application of Experiantal Nature Tourism architecture solutions Scientific novelty – First summary analyzing Nature experience tourism architecture and its impact on tourism decentralization in the Nordic context

Methodology: Selection criteria algorythm was chosen through 4 following steps:

En + A*R = ENTA* Em + P = ENTA*

1. Classification by type. Object selection from Toaurism industry provided labels. e.g. booking.com, airbnb.

En - Environmental factors (natural attractions, weather patterns, sensoral triggers, human impact)

2. Visual comparative analysis by arranging related experiences on a visual collaborative board 3. Evaluation of Human impact and nature integration level. Experience altering factor discovery 4. Experiential estimation formula combining highlighted factors selected from previous steps and calculating optimal benefits through intentional and accidental application of experiential methodologies

ENTA - Experiential Nature Tourism Architecture

A - Architecture and artificial environment, building type height, application of design principles R - Relationship modifiers, story, expectations, price, activities and service EM - Emotional experiences, emotionsa and feeling perceived P - Physical and sensory experiences, ambience and soundscape
