EARTHQUAKE TOWER Location: Reggio Calabria, Italy Program: Waterfront Year: 2012 The waterfront is located in the port and has the purpose to confer a vital force to a degraded area. Earthquakes are frequent in the Strait of Messina and the project was born from the desire to turn a negative event into beauty. The focal point of the project is the tower that destabilizes the close elements. The two rotated volumes and the cantilevered windows give it a powerful image.

CASARCHITETTURA Location: Reggio Calabria, Italy Program: Cafe, Culture, Library Year: 2015 A small building thought for students service providing spaces destined for daily socio-cultural activities. The design is focused on reduction of energy consumption and the use of passive strategies for temperature and humidity control of the building, both during the winter and summer. The decisive element is the double skin placed on the most exposed fronts in order to shield the strong solar radiation during the hot days. During the winter the climbing deciduous allows the passage of sunlight in order to heat the rooms.

SHOPPING MALL Location: Camigliatello Silano, (CS) Italy Program: Shop, Public Space Year: 2014 The project of the new shopping mall seeks to integrate in the best way the combination of architecture and nature. Intent practiced by a conceptual theme dating back to classical antiquity: -a PODIUM, almost silent, which performs the dual function of base for the temple and intermediary with nature. -a TEMPLE denouncing the presence of the whole project, not in an arrogant way but always taking into account the strong natural environment from which rise. A shopping mall is a place made of flows of people and goods that come and go......a continuous flow of things. It’ s this concept of flow that has marked the character of the project. Moving walkways, escalators and ramps are ways that facilitate and encourage people to understand and move easily into the building

ACADEMY OF ART Location: Reggio Calabria, Italy Program: Education, Culture, Exhibition Year: 2013 The new Reggio Calabria School of Art represents the last action for the University Campus. The building is conceived to establish a relationship between architecture and landscape. Inspired by the art of Lucio Fontana, Tagli (slashes), the project borns from a strong and clear act, but carefully calculate. The ‘heart’ is the exposition room wich offer a delightful view towards the Strait of Messina.

WOOD SHEET Program: Desk Year: 2011 This is a desk with an innovative and fascinating design with its curved line. In an office, whatever the type of work done, we are constantly surrounded by sheets of paper. The idea was born from this reasoning. A sheet, moved by a sweet force, bends into sinuous forms. Moreover there are shelves and a hole on the top to insert the magazines or books that we use frequently.

PARAPHARMACY Location: PetronĂ (CZ), Italy Programe: Retail Year: 2015 The solution adopted is an expedient to expand the spatial perception (given the small size) through a lowering in the central part of the ceiling and the upward inclination of the four surrounding sides so as to increase the volume of the room, even slightly but enough to reach the goal. The lighting design consists of a large central lighting luminaire that diffuse the light evenly in the room and the spotlights, that illuminate the shelves, placed on the inclined sides so as to avoid the shadow of who is close them.
