Raising eyebrows with the latest colour trends

With the eyebrow trend snowballing in recent years it is quite obvious that colouring methods follow suit. But what makes a great brow or lash tint and how can this be the perfect ‘finishing touch’ for your professional brow design? And with so many colouring methods available, which is best for YOU?

Most eyebrow specialists will recommend a colour best suited to your skin tones and hair type. Too much colour or product will result in scary Groucho look, while too little will cause a washed out, tired look.

Whether the texture of your hair is thick or thin, you may struggle with ‘sparse’ hair. For this brow type it is best to avoid darker tints or concentrates. A lighter undertone that can be left on longer during developing time will give depth and fullness to the hair without showing the imperfections.

On wiry hair with grey or white hairs, a lighter tone will give the white hair time to develop without overdoing the finer hairs preventing a potential ‘salt and pepper’ look from using a darker undertone! Thick brows are much easier to determine and can be created using a variety of colours.

Have fun with your colour choice! Bring out your best features by using the likes of concentrate colours such as índigo black, midnight sky, henna chestnut and pearl granite - make your features pop! Redheads suit earthy mocha brown or henna chestnut, while Nordic blondes should opt for something like a chocolate cocoa lash tint and pearl granite brows.
