Bhavna Megh, owner of Stepping Into You, was born and raised in London. Her parents moved from India to London for better opportunities, and her early years were spent in a household filled with relatives. “We lived with my uncle’s family, and at times there were twelve of us in one house,” Bhavna recalls.
As a teenager and young adult though, Bhavna faced numerous challenges. At the age of 14, Bhavna’s younger brother was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Although he initially recovered, the tumour returned aggressively, and he passed away just after his 18th birthday.
This profound loss deeply affected Bhavna and her family. “I remember being in shock, feeling nothing. It wasn’t until the funeral that I fully broke down,” she shares. Various health issues also plagued Bhavna during this difficult time, and it was then she expanded her journey into energy healing in an effort to begin healing herself.
“Studying neuro-linguistic programming and hypnotherapy added a deeper layer of understanding to how I was living. It shifted me a lot, allowing me to create deeper, below-the-surface changes,” she explains.
When Bhavna moved to Australia at the age of 30, she excelled in a career in corporate training and development. She discovered a passion for helping people grow and develop their potential. “My career in training and development was unexpected. I trained in marketing and advertising, but I found my calling in helping people grow and be better in themselves,” she says. Answering the call, she formed Stepping Into You.
Integration Is The Key
Moving permanently into the role of helping others transform lives, one important thing Bhavna discovered was the challenge people have in sustaining change for a lifetime. She observed people falling back into their old selves and habits, leading them to repeatedly seek the same breakthroughs in retreat after retreat, coaching program after coaching program, investing thousands into chronic self-transformation. “It’s about integrating the change, so you don’t need to keep going back,” she explains. But how do you truly integrate the learning and tools back into your life after an intensive retreat or workshop?
Integration is about taking small, manageable steps rather than overwhelming oneself with the entirety of the change all at once. Bhavna explains, “Big goals require little steps. Start with the small steps towards the life you wish to create. Make them so small that they are super easy to accomplish. The key here is to create momentum.”
Creating Momentum
Momentum is crucial. Once the train starts moving, it becomes easier to keep it going. By starting with changes that are simple and easily achievable, you build confidence and establish a foundation for taking larger steps later.
“Watch out for reality,” she warns. Returning to everyday life after a transformative experience can be challenging. The familiar environment, routines, and interactions can quickly pull you back into old habits and thought patterns. It’s important to raise your awareness during this period. “Notice how you show up the same and how you show up differently. When you notice the same, choose whether you want to change or continue this state and take little steps to create this.”
Bhavna's unique approach involves upgrading the “software” of the mind, akin to updating a phone's operating system. She focuses on hardwiring new subconscious beliefs that align with the desired life and clearing stress that blocks this life from manifesting. This upgrade in subconscious beliefs can positively impact various aspects of life, including relationships, business, health, self-esteem, prosperity, and spirituality.
Activation Steps
To facilitate integration, Bhavna introduces what she calls “Activation Steps.” These small, actionable steps align with the new beliefs and changes one wishes to embody. She illustrates this with the story of a client, a successful business owner who was constantly stressed about her business forecasts. Bhavna helped her release this stress and instilled new beliefs about her business and herself. The client’s Activation Step was to review her forecast only once the following week. She easily and comfortably went an entire month without looking. This small step brought significant relief and allowed her to focus on more productive activities.
Bhavna also works on releasing physical and emotional stress stored in the body. She believes that transformation involves the mind and addressing the physical manifestations of stress and emotional blocks.
The 5 Foundation States
Bhavna’s approach to transformation is anchored in what she calls the Five Foundation States. “We can transform states of fear, anxiety, or sadness into states of peace, non-attachment, love, wisdom, and grace,” she explains. These foundational states provide a stable base for sustainable change.
Her understanding and approach to transformation are deeply rooted in her own personal journey–her family's immigrant experience, her brother’s tragic death, and her own health challenges. These experiences have instilled in her a deep understanding of the importance of integrating changes into daily life to achieve sustainable transformation. Her personal experiences have uniquely positioned her to guide others on their paths to transformation. “I want people to step into their own power, their own greatness. I offer a space for them to be in that and support them with the mindset and beliefs aligned with the life they desire to create,” Bhavna says. Integration is the key to ensuring that the epiphanies, breakthroughs, and transformations experienced working with her become lasting changes rather than fleeting moments. By focusing on small, manageable steps, raising awareness of old and new patterns, and continuously reinforcing new beliefs, lasting transformation becomes achievable.
