Bianca and Elvis Pereira are redefining the commercial cleaning industry through their family-owned business, Lauxen Cleaning Solutions. With a unique approach to client relations and a commitment to excellence, it’s easy to understand how their passion and principles drive their sustained success.

The Pereiras, both originally from Brazil, started Lauxen Cleaning Solutions four-and-a-half years ago after moving from the Gold Coast to Noosa for a better environment in which to raise their son, Noah. “My wife had been a cleaner for seven years, working alone,” Elvis recalls. With experience in building businesses, he recognised the potential in the cleaning industry and the importance of maintaining strong core values. “I saw a massive opportunity to help her build the business."

From Bad Experiences To Building Trust

Many of Lauxen’s clients come to them after bad experiences with previous cleaning services. “Most of our clients, such as restaurants, surf clubs, schools, shopping centres, and medical facilities, have had issues with cleaners who didn’t show up or didn’t do a good job. Trust is critical, especially when cleaners have security codes and keys to the business premises,” Elvis explains. “It’s important to us that our clients feel comfortable and safe with our team; that’s why staff members are pre-qualified, police-checked, and fully insured to bring peace of mind to our clients.”

“We focus on creating an easy flow of communication between our company and the clients. Any complaint or issue is resolved immediately,” he says. This commitment to prompt and effective communication sets Lauxen apart from larger companies, where clients often struggle with slow and impersonal responses.

“We don’t focus on numbers. We’re growing slowly to keep the company's core values intact while refining the services we offer and the clients we work with,” he states. This careful approach has allowed Lauxen to expand the number and types of businesses they serve while simultaneously maintaining their personal touch. Their slogan, “We don’t cut corners. We clean them,” highlights their commitment to excellence, offering no lock-in contracts, regular site inspections, and a 100 per cent satisfaction guarantee policy.

Our Team Is Our Family

Elvis emphasises the importance of team cohesion and mutual support. “We have 14 cleaners on our team, and we’re all friends. We discuss business around barbecues and in restaurants, always looking for ways to improve and serve our clients better,” he shares. This camaraderie is crucial to their success and reflects the company’s values.

“Our team has become our family, and our personal wellbeing is our priority. One of our biggest clients was delivering feedback in a way that was detrimental to our team’s morale. We had to educate them on better communication and respect for our cleaners,” he recalls. This experience highlighted the importance of compassionate feedback, which Elvis deeply believes in.

“We always try to check-in on our team, ensuring they are happy with their work and the clients they serve. Sometimes, it’s about educating clients to maintain respect and understanding,” he says. This approach fosters a positive work environment and strengthens the bonds between the team and clients.

Expanding And Giving Back

Lauxen recently expanded into window cleaning, leveraging its expertise in handling large commercial venues. “We had to acquire the skills to deal with windows at heights, so we formed a team dedicated to window cleaning. It’s been a great success,” Elvis says. Despite this expansion, the core of the business remains commercial cleaning, where its reputation continues to grow.

Lauxen also gives back to the community by serving churches and other non-profit organisations, often without profit. “We are truly grateful for where our company is today and find ways to give back to the community. It’s not just about money; it’s about connection and service,” Elvis asserts.

Looking Ahead With Purpose

For Elvis and Bianca, the future of Lauxen Cleaning Solutions is bright and driven by a purpose beyond profit. “We are more than just cleaners with buckets and mops. We are about connection and delivering the best work possible, with love. We aim to help our clients present a clean and inviting space that reflects their values and priorities,” Elvis says. “A clean space not only enhances the business’s presentation but also elevates the morale of the team working there. It delivers a very clear image of your company to the world. It delivers a message that you actually care.”

Elvis’s story is a testament to the power of family, community, and a commitment to excellence. “I truly believe that my company is here not just to make money but to help your company acquire more clients, get better reviews, and offer an improved customer experience. I believe our company is here to help our clients way beyond just the cleaning we do.”
