Sustainability success in business webinars

As the world grapples with the escalating effects of climate change, such as rampant floods, devastating fires, and unprecedented temperatures, local businesses are increasingly feeling the need to contribute to climate solutions. However, mounting pressures are making it challenging for them to integrate sustainability into their operations.

Recognising this pressing need, local climate author and educator, Megyn Carpenter, has developed a series of free webinars specifically designed to address the challenges that businesses face in implementing sustainable practices.

“Often businesses want to do the right thing, but with the complexities and lack of time, staff and resources, sustainability is often put in the ‘too hard’ basket,” Megyn says.

“With Mandatory Climate Reporting (MCR) coming in, businesses are on notice to reduce their carbon footprint and have a sustainability plan. Any business that supplies large companies must report from day one. Perfect sustainability is not practical. It’s better to focus on a handful of projects and practices that have meaningful impact.”
