Collection of work done as part of Stereotomic Permutations digital fabrication studio at the University of Michigan. Following a precedent study of Pier Nervi the pieces used tools like Grasshopper, Mastercam, CNC routers, and Kuka robots to explore how structure can be designed for both aesthetic and functional properties. Using the router and an open face casting technique molds could be quickly and efficiently made.
