举 办 短 片 竞 赛 单 元 实 属 上 海 骄 傲 电 影 节 首 创 。我 们 欢 迎 任 何 探 讨 中 国 L G B T Q 群 体 的
故 事 。通 过 与 全 球 最 为 活 跃 的 酷 儿 电 影 盛 会 – 英 国 I r i s 电 影 节 达 成 的 合 作，上 海 骄 傲 电 影 节 的 获胜短片将被选拔代表上海参加2015
英 国 I r i s 电 影 节，并 角 逐 其 达 3 万 英 镑（ 3 0 万 人 民 币 ）的

We have partnered Iris Prize Festival ( U K ) , o n e o f t h e w o r l d ’s m o s t d y n a m i c L G B T Q f i l m c o m p e t i t i o n s . T h e w i n n i n g
short film from ShPFF will be selected to represent Shanghai at Iris Prize 2015, competing for a top prize of £30,000 (CNY300,000). Our main goal in 2015 is
to establish a constructive and proactive platform for emerging filmmakers.
We will be awarding prizes in six categories (technical and creative), judged
by an eclectic panel of industr y professionals including Desmond Loh (Stink Shanghai), Gar y Mak (Edko Films) and filmmaker Quentin Lee.

make their next short film in the UK. Six short films have been produced to date in collaboration with the winning filmmakers of the Iris Prize. The 7th short is in pre-production.
The festival is delighted to welcome ShanghaiPRIDE Film Festival into the Iris Prize family. ShPFF is an important gate way which allows Iris direct access to LG BTQ w o r k f ro m C h i n a . W e a re t h r i l l e d to b e w o r k i n g w i t h o u r n e w pa r t n e r.

CINEMQ is a monthly underground queer film series, screening Chinese and international short films and tributes to queer screen heroes.
We were inspired by the DIY cinema circuit which already enriches
S h a n g h a i ’s c u l t u r e , a n d h a v e w o r k e d w i t h a v a r i e t y o f v e n u e s t o b r i n g
films rarely seen before in the city to a ne w audience. Walls have been or screens, floors have been our seating.
We explored new currents in queer cinema, and asked audiences to
reinterpret what the y thought the y kne w about film histor y. Through retrospectives on Kenneth Anger and Divine, to new perspectives on
Pa r i s I s B u r n i n g , Y u S u n a n d W u Y o n g g a n g , w e h a v e c o n f r o n t e d a n d
d i s s e c t e d q u e e r s e l f - i m a g e . To u c h , A n g e r , S h a d e , D i v i n e a n d T h i r s t
have been made possible with the support of venues, filmmakers, DJs,
designers and finally you, the audience that has braved bad weather to sit in small spaces for the shared experience of cinemqatic delight .

In China, as the pressure to marr y continues to be a central component of traditional family culture, a number of mutually consenting lesbians and gay men have entered into agreements that allow them to adopt a form of contract marriage with detailed
terms and conditions of marriage and married life. Our Marriages: Lesbians Marr y Gay
Men follows the negotiations, weddings and lives of four lesbians for two years in a
large city in northeast China, documenting their strategies and the issues the y face.

Based on true stories, The Circle (Der Kreis) is a docudrama about the lifelong
