Thanks for watching If you thought that was neat tweet me @walkie57, or email me at mattwalker57@hotmail.co.uk. Which also works for Paypal if you feel so inclined. Either way feel free to contact, say hi and tell me if its worth doing another one.
I DON’T EVEN KNOW!?!?
I’m also on the hunt for more cool stuff, specifically brown ankle boots, a flowy jacket/cape/coat, and some more awesome comics to read because those are always fun. Finally if you have an opportunity available that might excite me, contact Matt Walker, on the email above or tweet me. I enjoy being thrown into new opportunities outside my comfort zone. PS if you could pass this forward to someone you think would like it, it would save paper and make their day, that’s double awesome points.
A collection of stuff I find cool because I believe the world needs to know more about cool stuff. This is just the product of a bored teen goofin’ around over Easter and the photos are probably not in the public domain. According to the copyright laws, critique qualifies as fair use and all the people photographed have been reviewed and recommended in their respective media. I’m new to this Zine lark so if you liked it drop me a message with the contacts on the back and make my day, or recommend me your favourite stuff so we can share the love. Thanks and enjoy.

Lets get geeky Well first off there’s the wicked and the divine, a comic series about gods who come back to earth as pop stars for two years every century. Its witty, diverse, and a unique reimagination of classic characters, one of my favourite series ever, and very easy to get into for comic newbies like myself. Bendy and the ink machine is an eerie indie game that tells the story of satanic sacrifices and twisted projects in the Betty Boop/steamboat willie era using clues and recordings.
For a lighter fix there’s Good Omens, a book about an angel and a demon teaming up to prevent the apocalypse despite old rivalries. This book is hilarious with a heart warming cast of people. Its basically bible fanfic by Terry Pratchett, what more do you want? Finally there’s Poe Party, a Shipwrecked project in which Edgar Allen Poe hosts a murder mystery night for his famous writer friends, but all turns sour when they get killed off one by one.

The wonders of the internet Natural killers—global My dad wrote a porno is an all time favourite podcast, it tells the story of jet setting saleswoman Belinda Blumenthal who will do anything to top of the business ladder. The Darkest night is the next podcast on the list, with clever use of directional sound that makes you feel like you’re the victim of these brutal murders. Warning: this is scary. I legit ducked under a mallet sound effect in M&S. For a more chilled time there’s Hannahlyze this, by famous youtuber Hannah hart and co host Hannah Gelb. This calming podcast features the Hannahs trying to work out which self help cliché works for them. And the last podcast is Within The Wires. A collection of meditation tapes and art gallery tours that tell the story of two particular women in a dystopian version of the 1980s.

Finally there's the Japanese Giant Hornet. picture a normal wasp, now make it the size of a freaking finger, with a sting that kills 30-40 people a year and can send you into anaphylactic shock.

Tunes and TV shows Marianas trench, now ignore the washed up 2000s pop punk aesthetic for a second. This guy generated crazy ear worms that have been stuck in my head for days. Fave song: stutter, here's to the zeros, haven't had enough. Next up, George Watsky is a young rapper and poet whose topics vary from robot clown attacks to American gun control. He’s excellent, with a clarity and haste to his work. Fave song: going down (age warning: 16), IDGAF. Continuing on rappers, there’s Karmin. They are a talented musical duo from LA. Amy takes vocals allowing for a fun combination of hot rap lyrics and smooth singing, while nick focusses on the instruments. Fave song: crash your party, acapella. Finally there’s AJR, a band consisting of three brothers singing in a beach boys harmony about topics varying from their weakness to various vices to the perks of not being famous. Fave song: burn the whole house down
To begin the TV side there's Gotham this is an obvious one but its so good, its batman before the villains grew up. There's just something about melodramatic Diesel-punk mobsters that I am 112% on board with. I am especially a fan of Fish Mooney’s arc as well as the soonto-be Riddler’s storyline. Next is Lucifer, This gloriously fun detective romp features the devil himself solving crimes in LA. Its witty, well written, and most of the cast are all supernaturally attractive and canon bisexual. Then there’s the classic, Buffy the vampire slayer. this show lulls you into a false sense of security with season one being goofy and fun before getting very gritty very quickly. Going from “the power of friendship” to talk on mental health and drug abuse. Penny Dreadful— Dreadful is a show about all the gothic stories that happened in Victorian London, follow Vanessa Ives, Dorian Grey, Victor Frankenstein, and Ethan Chandler on a dramatic, aesthetically charged adventure.
