American history has unfortunately, without question, had some difficulty dealing with and accepting equal human rights, and within the past few years, several Hollywood director’s have taken these issues to the big screen by producing brilliant films depicting the imaginable struggles that people once suffered through.
While the film The Help gained a lot of praise for its portrayal of African American citizens during the 1950′s, it was movies like Django Unchained and The Butler that aimed to deliver a memorable message.
