Medical Advisor Program

1. What is the Medical Advisor Program? A Medical Advisor Program provides our clients with direct access to highly skilled doctors who will assist in the development of a medical claim strategy that is designed to help drive claims to appropriate resolution, while maximizing our clients’ opportunities for savings and recovery. 2. What medical specialties are available? Our group of physician advisors has specialties of Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Family Practice, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Chiropractic and Psychiatry. Our physician advisors are experienced in treating and assessing the vast majority of medical conditions that are typically associated with workrelated claims. These doctors have a clear understanding of the supportive evidence needed to substantiate diagnoses, causal relationship, maximum medical improvement, AMA Guide ratings and apportionment as well as the various treatment options available for each diagnosis. Our physician advisors are particularly skilled in reviewing cases from an objective point of view, which includes using evidencebased medicine resources (AMA Guides, ACOEM, ODG, etc.).

3. What are the benefits of a Medical Advisor Program? Our Medical Advisor Program provides our clients with greater insight into the medical aspect of claims in order to achieve appropriate resolution of claims in a timely and costeffective manner. Our program is interactive, easy to access, quicker, less expensive and more effective than traditional use of an IME, AME or QME. A byproduct of this program is the everexpanding skill set of the adjuster in achieving claims resolution utilizing appropriate medicallegal strategy.
