Clutter is an issue with current wireless concert microphones. Many systems require multiple components, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and power supplies, which can take up a significant amount of space on stage. This can be problematic for tours where time is a constraint and can effect overall performance.
Also depending on the venue the microphone even shocks my lips without a foam filter!
Current technology allows for wireless microphones to perform as good as wired microphone with minimal latency. One of the main issues with current wireless concert microphones is their lack of portability. Many wireless microphones are bulky and require extensive set-up, making it difficult for me to easily transport them to different venues.
The current microphone is also already ergonomic enough for me to sing for long periods of times!

Constrained with aluminium extrusion being the main form of manufacturing, I explored and pushed the boundaries of this specific manufacturing process.
Lack of subject isolation
Busy background
Standard levelled view brings acceptable but stagnent image.
Off angles bring interesting and dynamic compositions.
Uncomfortable grip position
Aesthethics | Material language inspired by traditional film cameras.
Constraint by the film “Dune”, I was greatly inspired by the ship designs featured in the movie set 10 millenia in the future.
Within the constraints of the film and a light-bulb, I wanted to explore multiple forms and functions that can be fulfilled by a single task lamp.
Transforms between task lamp and night lamp modes.
