Personality Shield
Course: Communications Year: 2006 The aim of this project was to represent your personality onto a shield using the materials of plastic, timber and metal. Traits such as colors, culture and interests could all be used to convey what type of person you are.
Sculpture
Course: Soft Macchina Studio Year: 2009 This modular ‘sculpture’ is an abstract representation of an interior of a car of the year 2030. Each section of this model is an interpretation of a particular part of the interior, where it’s design is of a particular function performed within the cabin. Side Angle

Stationary Holder
Course: Workshop Year: 2006 The aim of this project was to use a recyclable material and convert it into a useful object. The material chosen was plastic tubing, which was transformed into a stationary holder for pens, markers etc. Inspiration for this outcome drew from the pan flute.

Table Stand
Course: Technology: Plastic Injection Moulding Year: 2007 The aim of this project was to learn and understand the process in which plastic parts are manufactered through Injection Moulding. The brief consisted of creating a design, find out the manufacturing process and quoting local factories for costs.
Front Spoiler
Course: Mod Mania Studies Year: 2008 This project was all about modifying an existing object that you owned and altering it to make it uniquely yours. I chose to customise my car by designing and creating a front spoiler giving it a more agressive look. Car customisation is a popular craze as it represents personality. Photography
Course: Visual Language Elective Year: 2007 This excercise was to photograph still images, concentrating on a particular subject matter. The aim of this excercise was to show knowledge of the design elements and principals such as proportion, shadows and composition through digital photography.
Stamp
Course: Workshop Year: 2006 The aim of this project was to recycle a piece of wood to create a hand made stamp. The design aesthetics was completely our own decision where I chose to carve it into the form of a tree. I wanted to ironically represent the scrap piece of wood back to it’s original state.

Pushi Bike Design
Course: Rapid Sketching Year: 2008 The ‘Pushi’ bike design was developed during a Rapid Sketching Elective. The aim of the excercise was not to design the bike itself, but rather designing a bike that focussed on a particular movement. The outcome of this bike design was based upon a rowing motion.
