This is the design of how my Horrifik Text would look once I completed it, the only problems I had with it was the fact that some of it was unreadable and the lettering rule stated that it all had to be in black with no extra colour so that made it more annnoying for my work. I then scanned my design through and eddited them to become black, then I placed them on Adobe Illustrator and had to reform the edges so they would look more likeable, it was a long and difficult process but I eventually got what I needed from edditing. This was the finished result of what I got from Illustrator, I fixed the edges and made it look more text usable for anything creative related. It worked well for me and now I just needed to use it.

This is the text being put onto the paper that officially made it a usable text, I had to seperately place each letter into the space shown for each letter of my text however it was not complete since I had nothing but Capital and lower case letters everything else wasnt made in time unfortunately. Here is my text being used to create the alphabet and my name in different versions. the alphabet was shown in Upper and Lower case so it can be seen on both versions. The name was at first made like the alphabet, then I changed the color of the outline to red to show some different examples, I then filled the letters with the colour white to show the fill being different. In the end I was satisfied with my work.

Anyone a fan of the lord Of The Rings? well I am and I decided to use the writing on the ring as inspiration and research so I can create something simular, at the time I thought it would work well for my text however I couldnt do anything with it that could make it better. I took the picture of the ring and drew it on A3 paper, I then scanned it through and improved the design on Adobe Photoshop. I couldn’t involve it further however it was truly a great idea to help my work.

Dont worry if you dont Understand it because neither do I, its a form of Dwarvern Rites. In The Hobbit the Dwarves had no paper or ink for some reason so they inscribed their words on stone like cavemen. This got me thinking about; what if the text was used onto an object, like placed into it like the rites are placed in the rock, so I tried to see if the words would cope being placed on an item so you still read them. I thought about it and decided to experiment it by placing on one of my Zines and it went very well. This idea helped out very much and made my research more viable.

Zine Pictures. For my zine idea I decided to take famous video game levels and redesign them in my own imaginative design so I can show my skills with redesigning pictures. The first was called Planets Core from Final Fantasy Dissidia. I knew this level because I have the game so I always thought of making it more interesting to play. The rocks were more darker and the green walls were changed to a red energy wall. The second was a map from a game that I can not remember, it was recommended by a classmate and I knew I could make it more my style. I took the golden faces and made them dark metal, while I transformed the blue light into a red light, once then I changed the theme of the room from a golden hall to a blue-ish dark hall, so a Villain would use it. The third one is one that I thought of when having a conversation with a friend of mine, it is the imperial city of Cyrodil from a game called Oblivion. I took the formation of the brick walls and thought to myself “They should’nt be golden but grey-ish like a stone, so I made all things golden into a grey-ish colour. Then I took the sky and added a whole bunch of mountains so the view could be spectacular. Honestly I feel confident with my work and in future hope that I can continue doing work such as this, because I am a lover of levels and am very curious if they can become more.
