Induced by photographic archives, the self published artist book STEPCHILDRENLAND was produced between 2010, in London/UK, and 2013, in Rio de Janeiro/Brasil. Its China Ink, graphite and white corrector fluid hand made drawings and texts are the reflection of childhood memories and proposes a visual narrative through autobiographical investigations as an effort to contribute to the discussion about memory and the construction of human identity in the anguish and paralysis imposed by the west invented life. Its pages are built in the subtle boundary of the real and of the imaginary and are dedicated to the amputated, the rejected and the disaffected ones.
