2. Don't skip the opportunity for a trial run.

Take the time with your stylist to play around with different hair and makeup styles that catch your eye so there are no unanswered questions. Ask your stylist for instructions on a timeline leading to your big day as well as how far in advance should you touch up your hair color and how your hair should be prepped when you arrive the day of your wedding. All eyes will be on you and the trial run will set your mind at ease at how beautiful you will look walking down the aisle.

3. Make sure your hair and makeup choices reflect your unique style.

There are so many choices, from the classic timeless look to the romantic or trendy. Make an inspiration board of looks you love so your stylist can help you make the choices that align with your style and make you feel beautiful. It is also a great idea to bring a photo of you in your dress since the neckline and style of the dress will help the stylist to join in your vision. This will also help you create a beautiful look that is the absolute best version of yourself.

4 .Consider eyelash extensions.

Although waterproof mascara is a must, you may want to splurge on extensions to ensure you won't have to worry about smudges around your eyes or your strip lashes falling off on the dance floor. Eyelash extensions will also look great on your honeymoon and are great for no/low makeup looks if your destination of choice happens to be a beach!

5. Narrow down a few hairstyles for your bridesmaids to choose from ahead of time.
