Does this ring make me look ENGAGED?!? Of course it does! Here are five tips after receiving the BLING.

1. ABSORB the moment! Let the moment you have waited for your entire life fill you up with joy!

2. ANNOUNCE the way you want to, when you want to! Whether that is by sharing the first selfie you took or waiting for a professional engagement session, do it your way.

3. LET REALITY SINK IN! We know how exciting becoming engaged is but please do not rush to shop and plan while the excitement is still super new. Brides tend to do this quite often and get caught up in the excitement making super quick decisions without proper time to see what all is out there.

4. SET A DATE! Be realistic about your timeline. Great things take time to come together, do not rush yourself if possible. As a note, wedding dresses can take three to six months to be ordered. If the dress of your dreams is a must then we highly suggest planning the wedding date around the most important piece — the bride’s dress!

5. EXPLORE! You would not believe all the fabulous ideas and options that are out there. Look at multiples of everything and be 100 percent committed to the choices you make. No one likes a wishy-washy bride. n
