THIRD ANNUAL SKELETON GALA

Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee will host their third annual Skeleton Gala on October 26, 2024, in Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin. The masquerade-themed black-tie event is Bone and Joint Institute’s primary fundraiser and will benefit the Bone and Joint Fund of the Williamson Health Foundation. Attendees can enjoy dinner, drinks, including a signature cocktail, a silent auction, and dancing, featuring the dynamic band Burning Las Vegas.

Bone and Joint Institute is committed to giving back to the community in many ways, but this year’s gala proceeds will support the sports medicine program that serves student-athletes in Williamson County. In partnership with Williamson Health, Bone and Joint Institute provides physician and athletic training coverage to the Williamson County Schools as a service to the community.

“We don’t just provide services to the community, we are part of the community,” said Casey Davidson, M.D., orthopaedic surgeon and physician chair of the Bone and Joint Fund of the Williamson Health Foundation. “Our team loves being able to pour back into the community, support local students, and also honor our late founder, Dr. Craig Ferrell.”

To further Dr. Ferrell’s legacy, the group also plans to provide additional funds to the Craig Ferrell Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Skeleton Gala. Named in honor of Dr. Ferrell, these scholarships are given to Williamson County high school students who are pursuing a college degree in health sciences.

“Support for the Skeleton Gala has been tremendous, and we are hoping to build on that to host a bigger and better event this year to be able to continue to support students in the communities where we live and work,” said Davidson.
