ChromaSilk VIVIDS are the Most Vibrant, Longest-Lasting Colors Available Anywhere. ChromaSilk VIVIDS is comprised of ten pulsating shades including: Silver, Yellow, Orange, Red, Pink, Magenta, Violet, Green, Blue and Wild Orchid. VIVIDS are non-oxidation-type hair colors that require no special mixing with any type of developer. While the shades above are ideal to create an unlimited palette of custom shades, VIVIDS Clear is available to soften or lighten any shade for ultimate color customization. These are direct dyes, the color you see coming out of the tube is exactly the color you will see on the hair.

2. Before applying VIVIDS, hair must be freshly shampooed and dried. 3. Apply the color directly to the hair WITHOUT MIXING WITH DEVELOPER. 4. Allow to process for 20 minutes at room temperature. Once the processing is completed, thoroughly shampoo and rinse from the hair until the rinse water runs clear.

PROCESS 1. To achieve the truest shades, the hair should be pre-lightened to a Level 10 pale blonde. 2. Before applying PASTELS, hair must be freshly shampooed and dried.

3. Apply the color directly to the hair, without mixing with any developer. 4. Allow to process for 20 minutes at room temperature. Once the processing is completed, thoroughly shampoo and rinse from the hair until the water runs clear.
Mystical Mint
IMPORTANT TO KNOW It’s important to understand that while these are semi-permanent, direct-type dyes, not oxidation-type colors, they are extremely long-lasting. It’s important that salon clients understand that these colors cannot be easily removed from the hair and in most cases, will remain vibrant in the hair for months. VIVIDS and PASTELS are never applied with any developer or peroxide. If you want to dilute the color of your VIVIDS or PASTELS color to make a more pastel shade, use the VIVIDS or PASTELS color of your choice in conjunction with VIVIDS Clear. Add VIVIDS Clear to the VIVIDS or PASTELS shade until you attain the color you are seeking in your mixing bowl. What you see in your mixing bowl is what you get in your hair. If a customer decides they no longer want their VIVIDS or PASTELS color, the best remedial action is to lighten the color using PRAVANA’s Pure Light Power Lightener mixed with water. Apply this mixture to the color and allow it to remain on the hair for only 5 minutes. This will not remove the VIVIDS or PASTELS but will lighten the color to a point where you can then deposit over the color with a more natural shade of hair color. It’s important to note these colors cannot be bleached completely from the hair. To attempt to do so will surely damage the hair and perhaps drive the color stain deeper into the hair fiber. VIVIDS and PASTELS Color will last longer with proper home maintenance by using PRAVANA Sulfate-Free Shampoos. PEEK-A-BOO HUE A triangular section of slices creates bold contrast making a basic bob brilliant. 1. Apply Pure Light Power Lightener on slices. The bolder the statement you want to make, the more foils you use. 2. Once color is done processing and the hair in foils has reached the palest yellow shade (Level 10), carefully remove the foils. Shampoo, condition and dry the hair. 3. Apply ChromaSilk PASTELS Blissful Blue to the prelightened section. Process for 20 minutes. 4. Shampoo and condition with the PRAVANA Sulfate-Free Shampoo and Conditioner of your choice. The enriched formula will extend color protection and further revitalize and hydrate color-treated hair. 5. Style with Silk Degrees Shine Serum for maximum smoothness and shine.
ChromaSilk PASTELS color used: Blissful Blue

COLOR FLASH A flash of color is placed on each side of the head. For a brighter effect, add in a few more foils on each side. 1. Wefts of hair (at Level 10) are colored with ChromaSilk PASTELS Pretty in Pink. Let process for 20 minutes. 2. Shampoo and condition with the PRAVANA Sulfate-Free Shampoo and Conditioner of your choice. The enriched formula will extend color protection and further revitalize and hydrate color-treated hair. 3. Create a section at or below the parietal ridge. When placed here, the flashes of color will peek out on the sides. 4. A 4� weft is added on each side to provide an amazing flash of color.
FOR A MORE PERMANENT OPTION 1. Pre-lighten horizontal slices just under the parietal ridge on each side of the head. Feather your PRAVANA Pure Light Power Lightener mixture on the foils several inches away from the scalp down to the ends. Pre-lighten to a pale yellow (Level 10). 2. Shampoo, condition and dry before applying your ChromaSilk PASTELS shade of choice. Process at room temperature for 20 minutes. Shampoo and condition with any PRAVANA Sulfate-Free Shampoo and Conditioner.
ChromaSilk PASTELS color used: Pretty in Pink
RADIANT GRADIENT Precisely placed strips of PASTELS allow the color to cascade in an effortless gradient. 1. Level 7 regrowth lightened to a Level 10 platinum. Formula: ChromaSilk 10 V with 40 Volume Creme Developer. PLACEMENT: Two rows of alternating slices of green are placed in a circular pattern following the head shape. 2. Flashes of color are created by placing ChromaSilk PASTELS Mystical Mint in foils. Process for 20 minutes. 3. Shampoo each foil individually, as to not get PASTELS on the uncolored blonde hair. To properly care for this color, use any of the PRAVANA Sulfate-Free Shampoos and Conditioners.
