GREETINGS F2F
In-person team meetings return
It was an exciting opportunity for several Asia Pacific teams when they gathered in face-to-face meetings for the first time since the global pandemic.
The Aftermarket team, led by Director Travis Lloyd, came together to participate in teambuilding, strategy and planning workshops. “The Asia Pacific aftermarket management team was formed two years ago but had never met face to face due to COVID-19,” Travis said. “It was great for the team to come together for the first time, build relationships, be around the table together and workshop ideas. In a faceto-face environment, active participation can feel more natural than collaborating through a screen. It aids in building stronger interpersonal relationships where we can support each other through all types of challenges.” For new recruit Megan Skwierawski, Sales Project and Sales Administration Manager, the Q3 off-highway team workshop was the first time she met some of her team members in Singapore. “Having the connection in person makes so much difference, it truly does,” Megan said.
“Connecting in person helped build our synergy and develop a better understanding of everyone’s cultures. Seeing everyone in their working environment shapes the way we work and how we do business together.” For the HSE team, November marked the first time they could gather together in person to finalise the Asia Pacific HSE Strategy and plan for 2023. Nuno Cabral, Environment and Sustainability Leader APAC, said the opportunity enabled them to reflect on the year and work with key stakeholders directly. “We could effectively collaborate with the APAC Operations Leadership Team,” Nuno said.
“The time together motivated constructive discussions among the HSE group and we reflected on 2022 and what should prioritise in 2023.”
