A process with the aim to solve a problem. In many of my projects I tried to set the focus on the relation between user and object(s). The process is accompanied by the interaction of the different operators until the last step is done. It is not only about concentrating on a part of the whole but rather about integrating the projects in the environment due to their appropriate appearance and function. To solve this task on a collaborative approach and thus be able to deconstruct it into different layers is my main motivation.

This selection of projects is based on my studies in industrial design (diploma) in Germany and my current IxD master program in Sweden. Digital Interaction

New user experiences can be generated according to the ever changing conditions equally resulting in unique and effective solutions. I think an internship at Google gives me a good platform to keep up with current trends and developments regarding technical innovations as well as changes in society. To me, this rapid developments open up chances to engage in and improve the everyday life of humans in todays society.

Alli, a forestry interface platform

3 Members

A live student project done with the forestry industry of Sweden during the 1st semester of MFA Interactiondesign. The aim was to improve the feedback interface of the forestry operator. Our solution, „Alli“ is a digital platform that helps sustain nature and foster a healthier working environment in the forest.

We came to the conclusion that the Swedish forest industry can be seen as a system of a loop. Based on Swedish law, the number of trees has to remain constant: therefore, taking care of nature (through e.g. replanting or selection of trees to cut) is as important as executing a project or selling the raw material. This change of perspective is being supported by improving machine operator’s information related to the environment and through the communication between the several stakeholders.

Based on increasing professionalisation, media presence and resulting commercialisation, the professional soccer business shows a high potential for change. Paired with the given conditions, regarding personnel, chances to extend and intensify the service are available. On the other hand you can see many organisational problems in this area. The staff (coaches, doctors and caretaker) has the ability to manage player care holistically, however the general emphasis on economic and sporting milestones alters the focus of their workflow. Hence, the service revolves around networking and informal information exchange between all stakeholders, to intensify and expand their communication. This also leads to the digitalisation of existing services, including their touch points, information and users. As a result of the digitalisation, the dependence on specific times and locations is eradicated, while creating opportunities to plan and coordinate different members of staff through better networking and information evaluation. While flattening hierarchies this ultimately reduces administrative efforts, to allow the staff to focus on their specific expertise.

Good networking forms the basis of effective information exchange. Looking at the system map before digitalisation, highlights the absurd complexity of information flow and communication gaps between all the stakeholders. Following digitalisation based on the Union chat bot platform, information exchange between appropriate parties is streamlined. This ensures that the information is efficiently channelled in order to be processed, while remaining fully transparent.

I am first and foremost interested in finding solutions for tasks and problems. This can only be achieved if the problem is dissected into its different layers and given the possibility to be observed from different points of views. This way, a process can be composed to solve the problem based on no specific design field.

Glas topped table

2 month - prototype

The visible fragmentation of natural sunlight shining through glass served as inspiration for this design. Light therefore plays a major role in this concept. The color appearance changes depending on the incidence of light and the overlap of three interdependent table elements, each made of different colored glass plates. When overlapping each other, a complementary color is generated.
