SITE ANALYSIS

THE SITE IS STANISLAW TOLPA’S PARK LOCATED AT IN WROCLAW CITY WHICH IS IN THE LOWER SILESIAN, POLAND. AS IT’S A OPEN PARK AND USED BY ALMOST EVERY BODY AND ALL AGE PEOPLE. SOME OF THE PEOPLE USE THE PARK AS THE COMMUNICATE TO ANOTHER SITE AS TRANSPORT MEDIUM. THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT IS ALSO JUST OUTSIDE OF THE PARK AS TRAM/BUS STOP’S ARE THERE AND UNIVERSITY IS FRONT OF THE PARK. AND PEOPLE CAN APPROACH PARK BY WALK AS THE FOOTPATH ARE ALL OVER THERE AROUND AND INSIDE THE PARK. THERE ARE CAFÉ AND RESTRAINTS AROUND THE PARK SO FOOD IS AVAILABLE THERE AROUND. THERE ARE ALSO A OLD TENETS AROUND THE PARK AND ONE OLD CHURCH IS ALSO THERE ALONG WITH SITE.

THE FIRST THING WAS THAT I HAVE TO MAKE A CONCERT HALL OR MORE OR LESS ASSEMBLY HALL SO I STARTED WITH THAT AND PLACED IT IN A CANTER OF DIAGRAM. THEN I THOUGH THAT IT NEEDED A BACKSTAGE ALSO WHICH I PLACED BEHIND THE MAIN HALL. AND THEN OTHER THINGS LIKE CONTROL ROOM, STORAGE, STAFF ROOM, SEPARATE EXIT FOR STAFF WHICH I PLACED ALONG WITH THE BACK STAGE. THEN I REMEMBER THAT I WAS ALMOST FORGOT TO MAKE AN A ENTRANCE AND AFTER PLACING THAT BETWEEN THE ENTRANCE AND MAIN HALL I ARRANGED A FOYER SO IT WOULD BE A GOOD TRANSITION SPACE. THEN I POSITIONED THE BAR LOUNGE AND EXHIBITION AREA BOTH THE SIDE OF FOYER, SO THAT ALL THE MAIN AREAS ARE CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER. THEN I PROVIDED TWO MAIN EXIT FOR PUBLIC. SO THEY CAN EASILY GO OUTSIDE THE BUILDING, FROM THE EXIT ON THE BOTH SIDE. YES THE LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, IMPORTANT THING THE TOILET. I HAVE GIVEN TWO TOILETS ON EACH SIDE SO ALL PEOPLE CAN EASILY ACCESS THEM. AS THE CAFETERIA WINS THE ELECTION OVER THE BAR, THE BAR SHOWN IN THE DIAGRAM HAS BEEN CONVERTED INTO CAFETERIA.

CONCEPTUAL SKETCHES

THE ORIGINAL IDEA FOR THE PROJECT WAS TO CREATE AN ENCLOSED BUILDING, THAT BLOCKS OUT THE CITY NOISE, WHILE YOU OBSERVE THE EXHIBITION IN THE STANDS. WITH THIS I HAVE USED SKYLIGHT TO ALLOW LIGHT INSIDE. THEN I PROVIDE AN OPENING BETWEEN THE ATRIUM AND WALL SO THAT AIR CAN CIRCULATE IN ASSEMBLY HALL. MY SECOND IDEA FOR PROJECT WAS TO GIVE BUILT A BETTER ACOUSTIC, SO I DIG IN TO GRAVE AND FIND THAT THE STONEHENGE IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF ACOUSTIC. THE STONEHENGE’S BLOCKS ARE PLACED IN AN ANGLE TO PROVIDE THE GOOD SOUND, WHICH TRAVEL TO THE LISTENER IN BETWEEN THE WALL. WITHOUT GETTING A ECHO, BUT THE OUTSIDE AREA CAN. MY THIRD IDEA FOR PROJECT WAS THAT I HAVE TO PROVIDE AN EXHIBITION AREA, SO THAT THE BUILDING HAVE MULTIPLE USES. THE FINAL IDEA IS A DERIVED FROM THE COMPILATION OF ALL THREE IDEAS AND CREATE A ENVIRONMENT.
