Kiwanis members dedicate their time and skills to improve the lives of children throughout the world. They also provide the main support for all of the other K-Family organizations listed here. CKI (Circle K International): An organization for college/university students by showing their love for service. CKI members strive to make the world a better place one service project at a time.
Activity Ideas: College advice session, clean up our campuses, socials on college campus to promote CKI membership, service buddy programs (possibly with younger kids as well), etc.

ICON Key Club International has released their information about the 2021 Key Club International Convention, or ICON! ICON will take place from July 7-11 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. If you and your club is interesting in attending ICON, check the Key Club International website regularly for information and updates!

LEDCON Reveal
What is LEDCON? LEDCON is our District Convention that serves as an opportunity for 17,000+ diverse, dedicated student volunteers from across Texas and Oklahoma to come together for one weekend in April. At this convention, we come together to participate in featured projects and our District Board hosts workshops and forms that educate club officers, advisors, and regular members. We also take the time to celebrate clubs and members who have gone above and beyond for their club. Various awards, honors, and scholarships are awarded for outstanding service, performance, and improvement.

Now that we have gone over all of the K-Families, I think it's time to introduce the partners outside of the organization that help and support our purpose!
SERVICE
Landscape Structures: Landscape Structures (LSI) has joined Kiwanis International as a vision partner to bring play to communities across the globe. LSI is proud to provide high-quality commercial playground equipment and planning consultation services that reflect the high degree of integrity that Kiwanis clubs expect.
Squads Abroad: Squads Abroad is a 501c3 international development organization that provides Key Club members with affordable service opportunities to volunteer virtually from home or abroad to make a meaningful impact in under-served communities through Health, Education, STEM or Business focused programming.
Nickelodeon: Nickelodeon currently presents two major campaigns each year that encourage action in kids globally. Worldwide Day of Play reinforces Nickelodeon’s mission to make the world a more playful place by leading active, playful events across the country. Nickelodeon’s Get Dirty campaign seeks to educate kids, families and teachers about what they can do to help protect the planet in fun, mindful ways.

Partners The U.S. Army: The U.S. Army empowers tomorrow’s leaders by offering advanced schooling for today’s top careers. Not only that, programs like the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) and March2Success.com allow students to go to college debt free and excel in the classroom with helpful academic resources.
Project Happiness: Project Happiness inspires and empowers club members to create greater happiness within themselves and their communities addressing the bullying issue at its core. The Key Club Guide to Project Happiness shares exercises, discussions, games and tools based on Neuroscience, Positive Psychology and Mindfulness to re-wire the brain for happiness. Why does happiness matter? Happier people enjoy life.
Up with People: Up with People strives to develop a sense of social responsibility in their participants through hands on community service. Service projects are integrated into each city visited during the semester. By volunteering to meet the specific needs of each community, participants develop insight into how different cultures address social and political challenges.
KCorps: K Corps is Kiwanis International’s youth exchange program for Key Clubbers. It’s a great opportunity to experience a unique culture, provide service, make lifelong friends, and see spectacular sights half a world away! Participants are hosted by Japanese families, and scholarship opportunities are available.

Major March of Dimes: Since the 1940s, Key Clubs have worked with March of Dimes to make a positive impact in the lives of babies everywhere. Today, Kiwanis members continue that culture of service by supporting the March of Dimes all year long by hosting service projects, raising funds and educating communities about the crisis of preterm birth.
Children's Miracle Network: Members work together by sponsoring fundraising events and conducting service projects at their local children's hospitals. Contact your local CMN hospital and invite a representative to a club meeting to share ideas and create a partnership.
UNICEF: UNICEF is the only organization of the United Nations dedicated exclusively to children. Working with other United Nations bodies, governments and non-governmental organizations, UNICEF helps to provide for children’s needs in more than 150 developing countries through community-based services in primary health care, basic education and safe water and sanitation.

The thirst Project mainly emphasizes on ways to bring clean drinking water to those who don't have immediate access to it.

A project geared towards addressing issues and
providing aid for the children in the Foster Care System. The Foster Care System is an underrepresented topic in the media, so it’s important that the members utilize their resources to help ADVOCATE and spread AWARENESS about the issues that foster care children face. Next, members would provide SERVICE for the foster care children by creating and donating care packages to local Department of Human Services and Foster Homes to help bring a smile to them during these times of uncertainty. With the help of the members of the Texas-Oklahoma Key Club District, the lives of foster children will improve with one care package at a time.
Activity Ideas:
Creating care packages that are required to
have a personalized letter, book, or hygiene product. Donating various gifts like books, toys, blankets, and clothing during the holiday seasons. Meeting virtually with foster children and mentoring or tutoring a child in foster care either in person or online, etc.

Children of the Future: Children of the Future focuses on helping to create a better future for the next generation and help the disadvantaged youth population within our district. We hope that this project will support and aid children in the foster care system and bring more awareness to their situation.Â
Activities: You can work with theres facilities is to hold birthday parties for children in the foster system, provide tutoring/mentoring, care packages for those going to new homes, helping the centers meet their needs (donate supplies), volunteering at children hospitals, volunteer to read to kids, donate books (Books for Africa: collect books for needy students in Africa), etc..
