STUDENT LIFE 22
letter from the editors Being a Wildcat is an experience unlike any other. UK’s campus is located in the beautiful bluegrass region surrounded by horse farms and rolling hills. The fun activities throughout the year are endless. Whether it’s football season or DanceBlue, life on campus is always thriving. The time from freshman to senior year goes by as fast as a thoroughbred at Keeneland and we do not want to forget these moments. The photographers here at the Kernel have captured some of our favorites memories from this past year. We’ve compiled the best of the best pictures that illustrate what makes UK... UK. We hope you enjoy! This year was full of groundbreaking news. UK faculty, staff and students found themselves outside of the campus scene and emerged into the culture of national and international stories. From the historical election to rallies around the country, civic engagement was a huge focus.
