Textured Visions Designed by Jillian Jones

Life, in all its ups and downs, twists and turns, rough and smooth patches, is textured. That’s what makes it interesting. Just as in life, texture in fashion is an element of interest, of curiosity, and of meaning. Fur suggests drama; sequins denote flirtation; denim creates a sense of carefree fun. Velvet, the trending texture of today, is undeniably

luxury to day or night. With the many textures that fashion has to offer, the SA/VS building at the University of Kentucky was the perfect place to shoot for this lookbook. The atmosphere of creativity, in a building both new and old, generates a sense of inspiration unlike any other. Just like in the SA/VS building, in fashion, and in life, we can count on texture to be everywhere. After all, who wants to live in a flat world?
