letter from the editor

MADISON REXROAT round this time of year, some people begin to miss the sun and heat from summer. But when it comes to fall, I couldn’t ask for a better season. Sure, autumn is the season of change, but it seems as if it’s the season with the most traditions: pumpkin patches, apple cider, football, cold weather (finally). Every fall, though, we come back to school a little different than we were the year before – better, older and, hopefully, wiser. As we progress into the fall and winter seasons, we at KRNL Fashion are excited to bring you our next issue full of our favorite fall trends and local fashion. Our three spreads encompass three aspects of Lexington that make our city a place everyone loves to be. From the urban in downtown to the rural in the Kentucky countryside to the historic at Spindletop Hall, there’s always a necessary balance to keep us sane. As for each issue, we’ve worked hard to create a beautiful and inspiring magazine that we hope you’ll enjoy. From styling to photography to design, the students at KRNL Fashion are truly the most hard-working, collaborative and fun team on campus and I’m so glad to be a part of it.
