Welcome!

Our Mission

Dear Friends: After 20 years, MPAC’s impact on our region and in our community continues to grow.

Mayo Performing Arts Center, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit performing arts organization, presents a wide range of programs that entertain, enrich and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of Northern New Jersey.

According to the Americans for the Arts Economic Prosperity Calculator, MPAC helps to generate more than $15 million back into the local economy each year. You can see that impact on show nights, when our local restaurants are teeming with patrons and there’s a buzz in the air when you walk down South Street. Thanks in part to having over 200 events on our stage annually, Morristown is a place people want to live, raise a family, come to visit and do business. We thank all of our patrons, donors and business partners who make the Morristown experience exceptional. Our efforts in performing arts education make an impact on the lives of over 40,000 children and their families. Whether it’s in-theatre school presentations, in-school residency programs, outreach efforts to cities in need of arts education programs like Paterson, our performing arts school with over 600 students, our traveling teen troupe that entertains at dozens of non-profit events, or mainstage productions like this past year’s Les Misérables, MPAC is committed to fostering a lifelong love of the arts in our youngest generation.

All of us at MPAC are committed to providing a superior impact on the community we serve. Each year, we are determined to find new and exciting ways to improve your experience, to bring in exciting new concerts, and create innovative educational programs. We believe our 2015-2016 season is reflective of that determination to bring the best of the performing arts to Morristown. We hope to see you many times throughout this season!

Cast of Les Misérables, MPAC’s 2015 Spring Musical

MPAC is where our community comes together to be inspired, entertained and uplifted by the power and the passion of the performing and visual arts.

Over 600 children participated in MPAC’s Performing Arts School program in 2014-15

Your support is vital to enable us to continue to offer arts programming to our community each year. See page 23 for information on how to support our mission.
