Founder & Chief of Creation

Mr. Love started as an artist and achieved his first international success when he created and starred in the production of NY Express Roller Dance Company.

As an artist, Mr. Love continued to perform on the stage, in TV commercials, and major motion pictures until he moved into the business side of the industry as the founder and CEO of Love Productions.

He has worked closely and appeared with celebrities such as Ben Vereen, Demi Moore, Jeff Daniels, Conan O'Brian, Tisha Campbell, Nicolas Cage, Lou Gossett Jr., and has worked with twotime Academy Award-winning director Robert Wise. As a producer/ director, Mr. Love's various performing companies have enthralled millions in theaters and arenas across the five continents

Val Brochard EVP of Production

Val Brochard and Steve Love have a long-term working relationship, having collaborated on several productions and projects. Ms. Brochard has produced many concerts as well as numerous music and industrial videos. She has conceived and directed commercials for brands such as Budweiser, Rogaine, Claritin, and M & M’s. In addition, Ms. Brochard has produced several independent feature films, including Ocean Park, the multiple award-winner of the 2002 Los Angeles and New York Independent Film Festivals. “I must admit that BREAK! holds a very special place in my heart. Not only our cast members are talented, creative and beautiful, they

Meet “Doc,” a Bronx native whoʼs been making waves in the music and dance world since the age of 12. Inspired by Soul Trainʼs early days of Popping and Locking, Docʼs passion for expression through music and dance only grew stronger. With a background in music theory, martial arts, and dance from the East Harlem Music School and Columbus Boys & Girls Club, Doc joined forces with friends to form GhettOriginal Dance Company.

Their mission? To bring the vibrant culture of Hip Hop to the stage. And bring it, they did! With tours worldwide, performances at the Kennedy Center Honors, and a Bessie Award win in 1991, Docʼs contributions to Hip Hop theatre are undeniable. From choreographing for Jam On The Groove to collaborating with Bill Irwin, Docʼs innovative spirit has left an indelible mark.

With a resume that boasts performances with A-listers like N-Sync, Mya, and Missy Elliot, Docʼs talent knows no bounds. As a music director, DJ, and sound designer, Doc continues to push the boundaries of music and dance. His mantra? “Music makes the world go round, and dance is a key element that helps to tell the story of our journeys.”

Victor ‘Kid Glyde’ Alicea Choreographer

Meet Victor “Kid Glyde” Alicea, a trailblazing b-boy whoʼs living proof that with determination and passion, anything is possible. With roots in Queens, New York, Kid Glyde was trained by his father and Kid Freeze, original members of The Dynamic Rockers. Today, heʼs the President of the crew, leading the next generation of b-boys and girls.

As a renowned choreographer, Kid Glyde has worked on numerous productions, including the original production of BREAK! He is thrilled to be part of the 2025 tour, bringing his expertise and passion to the stage once again.

As an event organizer, Kid Glyde has made his mark with events like Evolution and the Kids Breaking League (KBL), empowering youth through the art of Breaking. Heʼs judged battles worldwide, from Redbull BC One to the SEA Games, and has performed and choreographed for numerous events, including the World Battle Surf and Break.

Kid Glydeʼs impact extends beyond the dance floor. He's a mentor, a leader, and a true ambassador of b-boying culture. As the Head of Judges Evaluation for the Olympics, heʼs taking the culture to new heights. Recently, he led a performance on Good Morning America to celebrate Black History Month, inspiring a new generation of dancers and fans alike.

PERFORMERS

Grand Wizzard Theodore, AKA Theodore Livingston

As a child growing up in The South Bronx. young Theodore was always attracted to the music emulating from the Speakers of his Brothers Mean Gene and Cordios

equipment. The legendary L Brothers. As fate would have it he eventually began experimenting on his brothers turntable when no one was watching. Grandwizzard Theodore creator of the scratch and needle drop featured in the first hip-hop movie Wild Style and featured in the movie Scratch, travels around the world teaching hip-hop classes and playing venues. His life story was detailed in the Netflix series The Get Down. He is genuinely regarded as the creator of the scratch and needle drop that all DJʼs still use today.

Meet Roger G, the Brooklyn-born Renaissance man of entertainment! One of the original dancers to Tour with BREAK! The Urban Funk Spectacular Worldwide. With a versatility thatʼs hard to match, heʼs mastered rap, hip-hop, mime, and even native Australian dance. His unique style and charisma have earned him global recognition and respect. Roger Gʼs impressive resume includes performances with icons like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Jay-Z, as well as appearances on Americaʼs Got Talent, Americaʼs Best Dance Crew, and Sesame Street. This talented artist continues to wow audiences with his high-energy performances, inspiring new generations with his passion and creativity.

Doron Lev

Doron Lev Returning BREAK! Drummer with a unique sound and electrifying stage presence that fuses Hip Hop, Funk, Jazz, & World Music. From behind the drums, Doron provides the incendiary lyrics and rhythms that drive this amazing band performing music off of his original releases (Uglybraine, Leviaphon, Eleguns). Doron has also recorded & performed with many artists such as Hip Hop legends Newcleus, Ski Beatz, Matt Dickey Cartography, Nicholas Marks, Beledo, Eyal Amir, Louis Demuille, Evil Giraffes on Mars, Esko Boogie & many more! As a theatrical musician, Doron has been a cast member of Break The Funk Spectacular!, Through the Fire Labyrinth Theater, & serves as Musical Director for Invincible & Rennie Harris Funkedified.

Edwin ʻIndioʼ Garcia

Meet Edwin ‘Indio’ Garcia, a Bronx-born BREAK! The Urban Funk Specatcular original bboy with a passion for breakdancing and a mission to inspire his community. Since starting out in 1999, Indio has risen through the

ranks, co-founding the Kids Breaking League and becoming Vice President of the legendary Dynamic Rockers crew. His impressive portfolio includes choreographing for the Staten Island Yankees and performing at Comic Con Philly, the Dominican Parade, and the HIP HOP Symphony. With numerous battle wins and a commitment to teaching and mentoring, Indio is a true leader in the breakdancing world.

With his simple but powerful dance style, Indio has been able to share his philosophies and faith with others. Breakdancing is not just entertainment to him, he uses it to inspire others in a positive way without words to not be afraid to dream big and set goals that would not only improve their own lives but also the communities they live in.

Mark Martin MC & Human Percussionist (Music Supervisor)

Meet Mark Martin, the beatboxing champion who's redefining the limits of vocal expression. With a passion that's contagious, Martin fuses sound and movement to inspire others to think creatively about communication and connection. From winning international battles to performing on Broadway, Martin shares his love for beatboxing through The Academy of Noise, a music and leadership program that empowers everyone to speak up and create. Get ready to tap along and make music!

Noah ʻNoahlotʼ Catala

Born in Spanish Harlem, Noah “Noahlot” Catala has made a name for himself as a dancer, choreographer, and actor, all while uplifting and representing his community. His dance journey began

at just two years old, when he famously started doing headspins on concrete, earning the nickname ‘Noahlot’ for mastering a wide range of styles, including Hip-hop, Latin, Popping, Locking, House, Krump, and Hustle. Noah was trained by his mother, Violeta Galagarza, founder of the nonprofit dance company KR3Ts, which has been developing top-tier professional dancers for over 30 years.

Gyeun Jeong aka Lobel

Gyeun Jeong aka Lobel is a South Korean dancer specializing in Popping who started her professional dance career after she trained with Lia Kim (1M) since 2008. For years, she studied various dance forms such as Popping, Hip-Hop, Jazz, African, Tap, House, Ballet. Since moving to NYC in 2010 (age 19), Lobel has performed at the Apollo Theater (Amateur Night at the Apollo TV show), Guggenheim (Works & Process), Lincoln Center, Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival at Alvin Ailey Theater, Carnival Choreographer’s Ball at HighLine ballroom, Grey Group live performance at Whitney Museum, KCON at Javits Center, Madison Square and many more.

Rinto Fujita - BBoy Ringtone

Meet BBoy Ringtone, aka Rinto Fujita, a high school senior with a passion for breaking that knows no borders. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Rinto brought his love for dance to New York City, where he joined the legendary Dynamic Rockers crew. As a skilled instructor, he shares his expertise with over 100 students at KBL Studios and the Downtown Dance Factory. With performances at iconic venues like The Apollo Theater and championship wins, Rinto's got his sights

Keira Barth - Bgirl Krazy

Meet Bgirl Krazy, aka Keira Barth, a 10thgrade sensation from Jersey City, New Jersey. This 16-year-old breaking prodigy started dancing at just 4 years old under the guidance of coach Kid Glyde. Now, as a member of the legendary Dynamic Rockers, Krazy travels the country, crushing battles and performances. With wins like "Queen of the East" and a crew battle at Lincoln Center, she's making waves. This fiery dancer aims to inspire young girls and take the stage at Red Bull BC One and the Olympics.

Jbreaker

Meet Jbreaker, aka John DeLuise, a Bronx-born b-boy with a passion for dance that ignited at just three years old. Inspired by Beat Street, Jbreaker honed his skills under the guidance of Indio and Kid Glyde, rapidly rising through the ranks to win over 20 battles by age 10. As a member of the legendary Dynamic Rockers, Jbreaker performs at community events across NYC. This talented teen is also a varsity football player and rapper, proving his creativity knows no bounds.

Elite

Eliud “Elite” Melendez discovered Breaking at the age of 9 and knew that it would be a part of his Hip Hop journey forever. Around the age of 13 he started taking Breaking to further levels with entering and even winning some of his first battles and competitions. He later became apart of the legendary crew Dynamic Rockers from Queens, NYC

who focus on preserving the art of Hip Hop and Breaking through worldwide battles and shows. He has performed and battled in over 32 countries and 26 states and has repped Team Puerto Rico worldwide. While being a very well balanced Bboy he is also known for his very explosive and dynamic style and his ability to quickly adapt to different events and formats.

Kayla

Kayla Yumi, a captivating dancer and choreographer from Lima, Peru! Kayla's journey began at 13, inspired by cultural dances and street styles. She mastered Hip Hop foundations, including popping, locking, and breaking, and dominated competitions like World of Dance Peru and Peru’s Got Talent. Now, Kayla’s taking New York by storm, performing in off-Broadway plays, music videos, and commercials. Her dream? To live her passion and share her love for dance with the world!

B-Girl Shadow

Shadow did her first six step in a New York City after school program when she was six years old. Falling in love right away with breaking, she eventually connected with Kid Glyde and the Dynamic Kids. Growing from student, to prospect, to full member of the world famous Dynamic Rockers at 16 years old, Shadow has competed in national and international Breaking competitions, both as a solo and crew member. She has had the privilege to perform with the Dynamic Rockers in multiple events with Hip Hop royalty like Grandmaster Flash, KRS One and Rakim as well as participating in community events around NYC. Also an accomplished hip hop and

house dancer, Shadow has participated in multiple seasons of the Joffrey School of Dance Hip Hop Summer Intensives, dancing with renowned choreographers throughout New York City.

King Kai

Kai Rivera (King Kai) is a versatile Bboy hailing from New Jersey representing the legendary crew, Dynamic Rockers. His journey into the world of dance began with self-teaching, taking inspiration from YouTube videos and other entertainers. At the age of nine, Kai became a part of the crew where he became the youngest member. From a young age, Kai has battled adults in the bboy scene, honing his skills and building a solid foundation rooted in the teachings of hip-hop pioneers. Kai is currently signed to a Big 4 agency (United Talent) and has landed principal roles in commercials for brands such as Microsoft, Macy’s, Dunkin Donuts, and Nickelodeon, as well as film and television roles for Law and Order, and Mean Girls the Movie, to name a few.
