LUKE JACKSON (Dad) Luke Jackson is an Actor/Activist/Writer based in New York City. Since moving to the City, he has worked closely with the National Queer Theatre and Theatre of the Oppressed NYC. As a lyricist, his works include musical adaptations of Napoleon Dynamite (YouTube album), and the beloved childrenʼs book, Frindle (in development). His solo show, Stitches, will premiere in New York later this year. Proud graduate of the University of Michigan! Go Blue! TERRY LEE III (Jimmy) is thrilled to be back on Maple Street for another groovalicous, beautiful adventure! Favorite credits include: The Berenstain Bears LIVE! SARAH HAMMOND (Book & Lyrics) is a Brooklyn-based writer originally from South Carolina. She has written the plays Green Girl (SPF ’08 at The Public), House on Stilts (South Coast Rep Commission), Kudzu (Trustus), and also the book for String (Richard Rodgers Award, Village Theatre World-Premiere March 2018). Honors include a New Dramatists residency, Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Heideman Award, and a residency at The Royal National Theatre in London. Her current musical projects are Wind-Up Girl with Will Aronson (Ars Nova Uncharted) and a commission for EST Sloan. MFAs: U. Iowa Playwriting and NYU Musical Theatre Writing.
KEVIN ZAK (Director & Choreographer) Kevin is thrilled to revisit Pete The Cat after having helped develop the original production. Kevin has produced and directed two seasons of Broadway Sings the Muppet Christmas Carol and is the creator/writer of Bloody Bloody Jessica Fletcher. As an CARRIE SWAN (Olive) is so excited to be on actor, Kevin has been seen Off-Broadway in tour with Pete the Cat! Some of her favorite Neurosis (Frank), R.R.R.E.D. His songs have been featured on CDs he produced for Ms. Egan (“Coffee House”, “Winter Tracks”, “Live”), as well as Tony nominees Rebecca Luker (“Leaving Home”) and Alison Fraser (“Men In My Life”), and original Rent cast member Gilles Chiasson (“Slow Down”). Writing credits: libretto and score for Lizzie Borden (Goodspeed Musicals); arrangements, music/ lyrics for Cagney (Off Broadway); libretto, original songs/arrangements Backwards In High Heels and several songs for Disney Worldwide Entertainment. He is adjunct faculty at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
