I am a veteran electric guitarist and
singer making my home and my living in my favorite city, Las Vegas. I have degrees in classical and jazz guitar but they've been all but professionally useless. I pride myself on putting out the best possible vocal and guitar product that I am capable of, and I practice all the time to improve. I enjoy all styles of music and all audiences. The best parts of my job are playing music with my friends, traveling, and meeting the fans. Being part of The Simon & Garfunkel Story is a privilege for me. I've also worked for a bunch of other great artists, production shows, television shows, films, and live performances. In order to do my job the best I can, I use and endorse musical products from Jim Dunlop Manufacturing, Carl Popek Amplifiers, and Neil Smith's Vegas Guitars Custom Shop. When I'm not playing music for you, I enjoy reading books, watching documentaries, eating clean food, and combat sports. But I'd almost always rather be playing music for you." THE SIMON & GARFUNKEL STORY DAN HAMILTON Dan knew he was destined for a life in music when he was 5 years old. Dan was the only kindergartener in his class that was able to appreciate the finer points of classic concept albums while the other kids were singing ‘twinkle twinkle’. He started playing guitar, piano, trombone and drums shortly thereafter. Thanks to his supportive family, he grew up playing in bands and he was always the one that the band relied upon for dealing with the sound (and transporting the gear). This led him on a path to the recording arts program at Fanshawe College. He gave up his dream of being a rock star to be able to make real rock stars sound great. He worked on cruise ships for a few years before working his way up through the ranks of multiple Canadian sound companies. Dan loves being the unsung extension of the band and has been travelling with bands for the better part of 20 years. Dan is also very excited to be working with The Simon & Garfunkel Story, because their music was part of his inspiration to get involved in this industry. According to Dan, he has his dream job. RANDELL GILLESPIE Randell Gillespie is a lighting director who is currently working with The Simon & Garfunkel Story and comes to us from his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Randell started his career over 25 years ago, upon graduating from high school, as an assistant to the touring lighting director working with bluegrass artist Ricky Skaggs. From there he moved on to working with local cover bands and gained experience working as the lighting department's lead stagehand and lead tech on many high profile shows for Crew One Productions in Atlanta, Georgia where he lived at the time. Over the last 17 years he has toured extensively around the world with such diverse artists as Robin Thicke, Engelbert Humperdinck, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Tedeschi Trucks Band, Patti LaBelle and Hank Williams Jr. to name a few. Randell has gained recognition for his work thru awards such as "The Jammies", an award he received for "Jam Band LD of the year" for a lighting production he designed to complement a series of sold-out shows with Medeski, Martin and Wood at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City in 2008. He was also nominated for a lighting award in 2013 for
the MTV World Live Festival concert that was simulcast live from Malaysia. BRIAN RICHARD BRIAN RICHARD (Tour Manager) has spent his entire life working in the music industry. He has been a bass player, bandleader and soundman with over 50 years of experience. Fortunate enough to have toured with two major Canadian acts, he has been on stages all over the world. The last 12 years has seen Brian move into the management aspect of touring, where he is able to use his vast experience to help the tour be user friendly to both the tour and venue. ERIC “KACZ” KACZMARCZYK Married 23 years with 3 kids. Still hacking it out with music and occasional diversions. Eric has been working in concert production since '89.
