The District of Colombia Latino Student Partnership The District of Colombia Latino Student Partnership (DCLSP) is a union of committed Latino student organizations from post-secondary learning institutions within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The vision, mission, and commitment of the DCLSP is to create and open opportunities for the unity, empowerment, and advancement of the greater Latino student community. The DCLSP will serve to plan, execute and coordinate various activities, events and programs with the aim of always propelling the Latino student community one step forward and never backwards. The DCLSP guarantees specific services to the Latino student community. By preparing two focal networking events every academic year, the DCLSP seeks to nurture Latino students by providing the gateways for social fulfillment and professional development. This semester, the DCLSP is working to fulfill its commitment by organizing its trademark event, The District of Colombia Latino Student Partnership Winter Ball . As this is still a new event for our organization, your help would be instrumental in establishing a quality precedent. Making this event successful this year and in the future can only be accomplished with the generosity of you and your corporation. The program would be held on February 28th, 2008 at The George Washington University at 8:00 pm in the Marvin Center. You and any other representatives of (Name of Company) would be most welcome to attend so that we could thank you personally for your support. Since the DCLSP is an organization that seeks to advance young Latino students on a professional path, your organization will be looked upon as one that not only cares but also supports the local D.C.
