APPLICATION CRITERIA
MAZERGROUP AG EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP The Scholarship is for the amount of $1,000 Five (5) will be awarded annually for a total of $5,000
ELIGIBILITY Graduating from a highschool in Mazergroup's Territory of Business (Manitoba or Saskatchewan) Must be enterting post-secondary institution or job-oriented training in the current year, in one of the following programs Agricultural Diploma or Degree Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Agricultural Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Agribusiness Land & Water Management Parts Technician Apprentice CONDITIONS Recipient of the scholarship must show proof of attendance at postsecondary or vocational training (i.e. a copy of tuition fee receipt or letter stating attendance) before the scholarship is released to him or her. In a Resume-Style format please include: General Information Name, Mailing Address, Telephone Number & email address Education/Career Name of Highschool & Town Name Please include the phone number and contact for your school & graduation date What post-secondary educational institution and specific program have you applied to, do you plan to attend, or are you attending Job/Work Related Experiences Community Involvement Extra-Curricular activities during highschool (ie: school, community, volunteer) Major awards received (school, sports, etc) Brief one-page biography Submit a 400-500 word essay on ONE of the following topics: How do you see yourself working in the ag industry in the future? What do you feel is the biggest challenge facing the ag industry in 2022? ONE letter of reference, which reflects school and community involvement References from family members is not allowed Reference must must be dated within the 4 months prior to application deadline
