Biogeografía de islas no se aplica a parches del este de Paraguay. Remanentes mediano presentaron los números mas altos de spp. Tamaño de remantes no es el mejor indiador de riqueza.


Numero de especies incrementa en remantes grandes cuando ser reducen de tamaño. (Anillos de Diversidad, generalistas, especies exoticas/invsoras).

Remanentes pequeños no fluctúan en numero de especies Perdida de especies no es proporcional a perdida de area.
