MBLGTACC 2013 Planning Coalition MBLGTACC is an entirely student-organized conference. The Executive Board of the MBLGTACC 2013 Planning Coalition comprises five current Michigan State University students and one recent MSU graduate. The Board makes all executive decisions for MBLGTACC 2013. The MBLGTACC 2013 Planning Coalition is autonomous and is not led by any university entities. It occasionally works with LGBTA organizations and centers at MSU on small conference projects, and looks forward to expanding its collaboration with MSU entities. MBLGTACC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible.

SUPPORTING MBLGTACC 2013: LARGEST LGBTA COLLEGE CONFERENCE IN THE NATION The Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Ally College Conference is an annual conference that is hosted at a different Midwest college each year. The three-day conference, which began in 1993, has grown to include over 90 educational workshops on various topics that affect LGBTA people, as well as a variety of inspirational plenary speakers and entertainment.
Poets Andrea Gibson and Katie Wirsing perform at MBLGTACC 2012.
We have been working with the Lansing Center and the Greater Lansing Convention & Visitors Bureau to put on the best conference possible, and we are thrilled to be holding MBLGTACC 2013 at the Lansing Center, located just 10 minutes from campus in Lansing.
MBLGTACC ALLOWS MSU DEPARTMENTS TO: • Support their LGBTA students and the staff and faculty who work directly with them An Iowa State University administrator speaks at MBLGTACC 2012.
WHY SUPPORT MBLGTACC? The conference provides an opportunity for MSU departments to show students, staff and faculty from across the country how much we value diversity at our university. For first-time attendees, it is a powerful experience that opens their eyes to the cultural, racial, religious, sexual and experiential diversity in the LGBTA community. MBLGTACC allows college students from all over the country to come together for a few days to learn and grow through the knowledge and experiences of people from many walks of life. We look forward to showing our guests the pride we have in our Spartan community and to inviting potential future Spartans to join us in addressing issues that affect us all. The Lansing Center is a gorgeous facility located at 333 E. Michigan Avenue in Lansing, MI.
• Provide their students with opportunities to learn about LGBTA people and issues they may encounter in their fields • Showcase their programs and services to attract prospective graduate students • Provide staff and faculty with opportunities to share their research, expertise and experiences
