People & Prayer
Pray
Whenever the Church advances, it does so on its knees.
Prayer is a primary means by which we partner with God on his mission—to love, reconcile, and transform people of all nations. Because of this, at Multiply, we seek to cultivate the value of prayer in all we do. We are deeply thankful to those of you for whom intercession is a vital way in which you serve our Lord; you inspire us all to live, work and minister prayerfully.
Partnering in prayer is essential for the healthy expansion of God’s kingdom as we send out global workers, partner with key national leaders and help everyday disciples to multiply. Your heartfelt prayers join with the prayers of Jesus as his Spirit brings spiritual transformation and renewal to individuals, churches, and communities, both in North America and around the world. We invite you to use this booklet as a prayer guide, supporting our fields of ministry through a commitment to pray daily for a worker, a team, a people group or a country.
Here are some ways in which you can support Multiply’s Network of Missional Teams in prayer:
1. Pray for a worker, using our Daily Prayer Guide multiply.net/daily-prayer-guide
2. Find that worker on our website and click “Send a note” to email them a word of encouragement, a prayer, and to ask to receive their newsletters.
3. Start or join a prayer group at your church, and meet regularly to pray for a missional team.
4. Invite a friend to take a walk with you and use that time to pray together for global workers.
5. Fast one meal per week and use that time to pray for a people group.
Note on Restricted Communication: For our workers and partners that serve in sensitive areas, we use initials or aliases instead of their real names. They each face unique challenges based on various security and safety concerns, so our communication policies are tailored to their particular needs and requests. Also note that some of our key national partners are not included in this directory at all due to heightened concerns. Please pray for those who face challenges like these as they lay down their lives in love and obedience to serve God.
