Where to find us

The College campus is within easy reach of Middlesbrough town centre, with easy access to train and bus stations which are just a short walk away.

Access to the campus

To access the College, you can simply sign in at our main reception where you will receive a visitor lanyard. We operate a barrier system for the safety of our community so once our friendly reception team have signed you in, you will be granted swift and easy access to our campus.

Support services for your event

From modern meeting rooms to large scale conferences, Middlesbrough College is a world under one roof with an incredible range of facilities and services to help you execute the perfect day.

Our experienced events team are here to help and can support with a range of services, activities and resources for staff development sessions, training away-days or external meetings.

We’re also on hand to help you inject some fun into your business, with a range of sporting and event spaces for staff rewards or team building days including theatre trips, sporting tournaments or restaurant and bar hire!

Our support services include:

STEM Conference Suite

This state-of-the-art space can be arranged in multiple layouts; ranging from a theatre, a classroom, a boardroom or any other layout required. Enjoy a professional experience with catering and refreshments, free WiFi, AV equipment and reception.

Music and Performance Theatre

Our MC Theatre is a stunning 142 seat performance venue available to hire for award ceremonies, seminars and training days.

The Theatre venue hire includes:

• Two dressing rooms

• Full AV support

• 96 channel lighting desk

The MC Theatre also hosts a series of performances throughout the year, providing the perfect evening out for your team!

Lecture Theatres and Classrooms

Innovate, inform and inspire your delegates in our lecture theatres and classrooms available for you to hire for presentations, screenings or training events.

6 Court Sports Hall

Fit for any occasion, our large, six-court Sports Hall is the perfect place to shoot some hoops, play a game of badminton, or host a large event, ideal for team away days or corporate tournaments. Our Sports Hall can seat up to 500 people for a formal event or up to 750 people for a standing or theatre style event.

Kitchens

Looking for something a little more hands on? Our industry-standard training kitchens are available for hire, and are ideal for industry demonstrations. The perfect interactive venue for CPD and team building days.

AstroTurf Pitches

Our fully-sized, floodlit 3G AstroTurf pitches are the ideal location for football matches or five-a-side games.

T Levels are new Level 3 courses which have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that young people can learn skills that prepare them for industry and work. T Levels offer students a mix of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of 45 days.

By offering a T Level placement, your organisation will be building the next generation of workers, who can help generate new ideas to develop and grow your business. You will only work with students who are training and are interested in your line of business. Our students will bring you new skills and fresh ideas along with up to date technology that they will learn on their college course.

Our dedicated work placement team will connect you with the right young person and you also get early sight of the new talent coming into the industry.

Graduate Salon and Barbers

At our Graduate Salon and Barbers, you can enjoy professional high-quality hair and beauty services at a high street salon standard and at highly competitive prices.

As well as being a training academy for our students, our modern salons and treatment rooms are open to the public and offer all the latest treatments such as haircuts, hair colouring, massage, manicures, gel nail enhancements and waxing.

College Gym

Join our College Gym! For just £15 per month, you can enjoy our fitness studio. Our team of professional, qualified fitness instructors are on hand to provide a smooth induction to this fantastic facility and can offer support and advice to those who need it.

Did you know?

You can join our gym without signing any long term contracts. Our pay as you train offer means you can use our gym for just £3 per session and even enjoy your first session for free!

Gymworld

Our state of the art, specialist gymnastics centre comes fully equipped with Olympic apparatus, specialist sponge foam landing pits, a sunken rebound, overhead rigs and twisting belts.
